| 1 | Ei meille, Herra, ei meille, vaan sinun nimelles anna kunnia, sinun armos ja totuutes tähden. | Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake. |
| 2 | Miksi pakanat sanovat: kussa on nyt heidän Jumalansa? | Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God? |
| 3 | Mutta meidän Jumalamme on taivaissa: mitä ikänä hän tahtoo, sen hän tekee. | But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. |
| 4 | Vaan heidän epäjumalansa ovat hopia ja kulta, ihmisten käsillä tehdyt. | Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. |
