| 2 | Ein Tag berichtet es dem anderen, und eine Nacht meldet der anderen die Kunde davon. | Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. |
| 3 | Keine Rede und keine Worte, doch gehört wird ihre Stimme. | There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. |
| 4 | Ihre Meßschnur geht aus über die ganze Erde, und bis an das Ende des Erdkreises ihre Sprache; er hat der Sonne in ihnen ein Zelt gesetzt. | Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, |

| 10 | sie, die köstlicher sind als Gold und viel gediegenes Gold, und süßer als Honig und Honigseim. | More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. |
| 11 | Auch wird dein Knecht durch sie belehrt; im Beobachten derselben ist großer Lohn. | Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. |
