| 2 | Herr, höre auf meine Stimme! Laß deine Ohren aufmerksam sein auf die Stimme meines Flehens! | Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. |
| 3 | Wenn du, Jehova, merkst auf die Ungerechtigkeiten: Herr, wer wird bestehen? | If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? |
| 4 | Doch bei dir ist Vergebung, damit du gefürchtet werdest. | But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. |
