| 2 | Denn essen wirst du die Arbeit deiner Hände; glückselig wirst du sein, und es wird dir wohlgehen. | For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. |
| 3 | Dein Weib wird gleich einem fruchtbaren Weinstock sein im Innern deines Hauses, deine Söhne gleich Ölbaumsprossen rings um deinen Tisch. | Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. |
