1 Und Benjamin zeugte Bela, seinen Erstgeborenen, Aschbel, den zweiten, und Achrach, den dritten, Now Benjamin begat Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,
2 Nocha, den vierten, und Rapha, den fünften. Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.
3 Und Bela hatte Söhne: Addar und Gera und Abihud, And the sons of Bela were, Addar, and Gera, and Abihud,
4 und Abischua und Naaman und Achoach, And Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,
5 und Gera und Schephuphan und Huram. - And Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.
6 Und dies sind die Söhne Echuds: [diese waren die Häupter der Väter der Bewohner von Geba; und man führte sie weg nach Manachath, And these are the sons of Ehud: these are the heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Geba, and they removed them to Manahath:
7 nämlich Naaman und Achija und Gera; dieser führte sie weg] er zeugte Ussa und Achichud. - And Naaman, and Ahiah, and Gera, he removed them, and begat Uzza, and Ahihud.
8 Und Schacharaim zeugte Söhne im Gefilde Moab, nachdem er Huschim und Baara, seine Weiber, entlassen hatte; And Shaharaim begat children in the country of Moab, after he had sent them away; Hushim and Baara were his wives.
9 und er zeugte von Hodesch, seinem Weibe: Jobab und Zibja und Mescha und Malkam, And he begat of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,
10 und Jeuz und Schobja und Mirma. Das waren seine Söhne, Häupter der Väter. And Jeuz, and Shachia, and Mirma. These were his sons, heads of the fathers.
11 Und von Huschim zeugte er Abitub und Elpaal. And of Hushim he begat Abitub, and Elpaal.
12 Und die Söhne Elpaals: Heber und Mischeam und Schemer; dieser baute Ono, und Lod und seine Tochterstädte. The sons of Elpaal; Eber, and Misham, and Shamed, who built Ono, and Lod, with the towns thereof:
13 Und Beria und Schema Beriah also, and Shema, who were heads of the fathers of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who drove away the inhabitants of Gath:
14 und Achjo, Schaschak und Jeremoth, And Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth,
15 und Sebadja und Arad und Eder, And Zebadiah, and Arad, and Ader,
16 und Michael und Jischpa und Jocha waren die Söhne Berias. And Michael, and Ispah, and Joha, the sons of Beriah;
17 Und Sebadja und Meschullam und Hiski und Heber, And Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hezeki, and Heber,
18 und Jischmerai und Jislia und Jobab waren die Söhne Elpaals. - Ishmerai also, and Jezliah, and Jobab, the sons of Elpaal;
19 Und Jakim und Sichri und Sabdi, And Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi,
20 und Elienai und Zillethai und Eliel, And Elienai, and Zilthai, and Eliel,
21 und Adaja und Beraja und Schimrath waren die Söhne Simeis. - And Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, the sons of Shimhi;
22 Und Jischpan und Heber und Eliel, And Ishpan, and Heber, and Eliel,
23 und Abdon und Sichri und Hanan, And Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,
24 und Hananja und Elam und Anthothija, And Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,
25 und Jiphdeja und Pnuel waren die Söhne Schaschaks. - And Iphedeiah, and Penuel, the sons of Shashak;
26 Und Schamscherai und Schecharja und Athalja, And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,
27 und Jaareschja und Elia und Sichri waren die Söhne Jerochams. And Jaresiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, the sons of Jeroham.
28 Diese waren Häupter der Väter nach ihren Geschlechtern, Häupter; diese wohnten zu Jerusalem. These were heads of the fathers, by their generations, chief men. These dwelt in Jerusalem.
29 Und in Gibeon wohnte der Vater Gibeons, und der Name seines Weibes war Maaka. And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon; whose wife’s name was Maachah:
30 Und sein erstgeborener Sohn war Abdon, und Zur und Kis und Baal und Nadab, And his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,
31 und Gedor und Achjo und Seker; And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher.
32 und Mikloth zeugte Schimea. Und auch diese wohnten ihren Brüdern gegenüber in Jerusalem, bei ihren Brüdern. - And Mikloth begat Shimeah. And these also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over against them.
33 Und Ner zeugte Kis; und Kis zeugte Saul; und Saul zeugte Jonathan und Malkischua und Abinadab und Esch-Baal. And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi–shua, and Abinadab, and Esh–baal.
34 Und der Sohn Jonathans war Merib-Baal; und Merib-Baal zeugte Micha. And the son of Jonathan was Merib–baal; and Merib–baal begat Micah.
35 Und die Söhne Michas waren Pithon und Melek und Tharea und Achas. And the sons of Micah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.
36 Und Achas zeugte Jehoadda; und Jehoadda zeugte Alemeth und Asmaweth und Simri; und Simri zeugte Moza, And Ahaz begat Jehoadah; and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza,
37 und Moza zeugte Binea: dessen Sohn Rapha, dessen Sohn Elasa, dessen Sohn Azel. And Moza begat Binea: Rapha was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son:
38 Und Azel hatte sechs Söhne; und dies sind ihre Namen: Asrikam, Bokru und Ismael und Schearja und Obadja und Hanan. Alle diese waren Söhne Azels. And Azel had six sons, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
39 Und die Söhne Escheks, seines Bruders: Ulam, sein Erstgeborener, Jeghusch, der zweite, und Eliphelet, der dritte. And the sons of Eshek his brother were, Ulam his firstborn, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
40 Und die Söhne Ulams waren tapfere Kriegsmänner, die den Bogen spannten; und sie hatten viele Söhne und Enkel, 150. Alle diese sind von den Söhnen Benjamins. And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers, and had many sons, and sons’ sons, an hundred and fifty. All these are of the sons of Benjamin.
