| 2 | Schön ragt empor, eine Freude der ganzen Erde, der Berg Zion, an der Nordseite, die Stadt des großen Königs. | Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. |
| 3 | Gott ist bekannt in ihren Palästen als eine hohe Feste. | God is known in her palaces for a refuge. |
