A psalm for David himself. The Lord hath reigned, let the people be angry: he that sitteth on the cherubims: let the earth be moved. | O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
The Lord is great in Sion, and high above all people. | The Lord hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.
Let them give praise to thy great name: for it is terrible and holy: | He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
And the king's honour loveth judgment. Thou hast prepared directions: thou hast done judgment and justice in Jacob. | Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
Exalt ye the Lord our God, and adore his footstool, for it is holy. | Sing unto the Lord with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
Moses and Aaron among his priests: and Samuel among them that call upon his name. They called upon the Lord, and he heard them: | With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.
He spoke to them in the pillar of the cloud. They kept his testimonies, and the commandment which he gave them. | Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
Thou didst hear them, O Lord our God: thou wast a merciful God to them, and taking vengeance on all their inventions. | Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together
Exalt ye the Lord our God, and adore at his holy mountain: for the Lord our God is holy. | Before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
