| 1 | Unto the end, for Idithun, a psalm of David. | Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. |
| 2 | Shall not my soul be subject to God? for from him is my salvation. | From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. |
| 3 | For he is my God and my saviour: he is my protector, I shall be moved no more. | For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. |
| 4 | How long do you rush in upon a man? you all kill, as if you were thrusting down a leaning wall, and a tottering fence. | I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah. |
| 5 | But they have thought to cast away my price; I ran in thirst: they blessed with their mouth, but cursed with their heart. | For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name. |
| 6 | But be thou, O my soul, subject to God: for from him is my patience. | Thou wilt prolong the king’s life: and his years as many generations. |
| 7 | For he is my God and my saviour: he is my helper, I shall not be moved. | He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him. |
| 8 | In God is my salvation and my glory: he is the God of my help, and my hope is in God. | So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows. |
| 9 | Trust in him, all ye congregation of people: pour out your hearts before him. God is our helper for ever. | — |
