절Douay RheimsKing James Version
Unto the end, in verses, understanding for David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
When the men of Ziph had come and said to Saul: Is not David hidden with us? God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me in thy strength. Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
O God, hear my prayer: give ear to the words of my mouth. Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.
For strangers have risen up against me; and the mighty have sought after my soul: and they have not set God before their eyes. There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.
For behold God is my helper: and the Lord is the protector of my soul. Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
Turn back the evils upon my enemies; and cut them off in thy truth. —
I will freely sacrifice to thee, and will give praise, O God, to thy name: because it is good: —
For thou hast delivered me out of all trouble: and my eye hath looked down upon my enemies. —
