절Douay RheimsKing James Version
The prayer of David. Hear, O Lord, my justice: attend to my supplication. Give ear unto my prayer, which proceedeth not from deceitful lips. Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
Let my judgment come forth from thy countenance: let thy eyes behold the things that are equitable. O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;
Thou hast proved my heart, and visited it by night, thou hast tried me by fire: and iniquity hath not been found in me. But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.
That my mouth may not speak the works of men: for the sake of the words of thy lips, I have kept hard ways. Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.
Perfect thou my goings in thy paths: that my footsteps be not moved. The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
I have cried to thee, for thou, O God, hast heard me: O incline thy ear unto me, and hear my words. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
Shew forth thy wonderful mercies; thou who savest them that trust in thee. I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
From them that resist thy right hand keep me, as the apple of thy eye. Protect me under the shadow of thy wings. I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
From the face of the wicked who have afflicted me. My enemies have surrounded my soul: Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
They have shut up their fat: their mouth hath spoken proudly. For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
They have cast me forth, and now they have surrounded me: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
They have taken me, as a lion prepared for the prey; and as a young lion dwelling in secret places. —
Arise, O Lord, disappoint him and supplant him; deliver my soul from the wicked one; thy sword —
From the enemies of thy hand. O Lord, divide them from the few of the earth in their life: their belly is filled from thy hidden stores. They are full of children: and they have left to their little ones the rest of their substance. —
But as for me, I will appear before thy sight in justice: I shall be satisfied when thy glory shall appear. —
