| 2 | Quand je crie, réponds-moi, Dieu de ma justice ! Dans la détresse tu m’as mis au large ; use de grâce envers moi, et écoute ma prière. | O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah. |
| 3 | Fils d’hommes, jusques à quand [livrerez-vous] ma gloire à l’opprobre ? [Jusques à quand] aimerez-vous la vanité et chercherez-vous le mensonge ? Sélah. | But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him. |
| 4 | Mais sachez que l’Éternel s’est choisi l’homme pieux. L’Éternel écoutera quand je crierai à lui. | Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. |
