| 2 | Pourquoi les nations diraient-elles : Où donc est leur Dieu ? | Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God? |
| 3 | Mais notre Dieu est aux cieux ; tout ce qu’il lui a plu, il l’a fait. | But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. |
| 4 | Leurs idoles sont de l’argent et de l’or, ouvrage de mains d’homme : | Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. |
| 5 | Elles ont une bouche et ne parlent pas ; elles ont des yeux et ne voient pas ; | They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: |

| 14 | L’Éternel vous augmentera [sa bénédiction], à vous et à vos fils. | The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children. |
| 15 | Vous êtes bénis de l’Éternel, qui a fait les cieux et la terre. | Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth. |
| 16 | Les cieux sont les cieux de l’Éternel, mais il a donné la terre aux fils des hommes. | The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. |
| 17 | Ni les morts, ni tous ceux qui descendent dans le silence, ne loueront Jah. | The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence. |
| 18 | Mais nous, nous bénirons Jah, dès maintenant et à toujours. Louez Jah ! | But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the Lord. |
