| 2 | Paa Trængselens Dag bønhøre HERREN dig, værne dig Jakobs Guds Navn! | Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; |
| 3 | Han sende dig Hjælp fra Helligdommen, fra Zion styrke han dig; | Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah. |
| 4 | han komme alle dine Afgrødeofre i Hu og tage dit Brændoffer gyldigt! — Sela. | Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel. |
| 5 | Han give dig efter dit Hjertes Attraa, han fuldbyrde alt dit Raad, | We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the Lord fulfil all thy petitions. |
| 6 | at vi maa juble over din Frelse, løfte Banner i vor Guds Navn! HERREN opfylde alle dine Bønner! | Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. |
