| 2 | Hvi skal Folkene sige: »Hvor er dog deres Gud?« | Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God? |
| 3 | Vor Gud, han er i Himlen; alt, hvad han vil, det gør han! | But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. |
| 4 | Deres Billeder er Sølv og Guld, Værk af Menneskehænder; | Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. |
