| 2 | 他為 那設立 他 的盡忠，如 同 摩西 在 神的 全 家盡忠一樣。 | Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. |
| 3 | 他 比 摩西 算是 更 配多得榮耀，好像 建造 房屋 的比 房屋 更 尊榮； | For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house. |
| 4 | 因為 房屋 都必有 人 建造，但 建造 萬物的就是 神。 | For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God. |
| 5 | 摩西 為 僕人，在 神的 全 家 誠然 盡忠，為要 證明 將來必傳說的事。 | And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after; |
| 6 | 但 基督 為 兒子，治理 神的 家；我們若 將可誇的 盼望 和 膽量 堅持到底， 便是 他的家了。 | But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. |
| 7 | 聖 靈 有 話說：你們今日 若 聽 他的 話， | Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, |
| 8 | 就不可 硬著 心，像 在 曠野 惹他發怒、 試探 他的 時候一樣。 | Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: |
| 9 | 在那裡，你們的 祖宗 試 我探我，並且 觀看 我的 作為 有四十 年之久。 | When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. |
| 10 | 所以，我厭煩 那 世代的人， 說：他們 心裡 常常 迷糊，竟 不 曉得 我的 作為！ | Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. |
| 11 | 我 就 在怒 中 起誓說：他們斷不可 進 入 我的 安息。 | So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) |
| 12 | 弟兄們，你們要謹慎，免得 你們 中間 或有人 存著 不信的 惡 心，把 永生 神 離棄了。 | Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. |
| 13 | 總要 趁著 還有 今日， 天天 彼此 相勸，免得 你們 中間 有人被罪 迷惑，心裡就剛硬了。 | But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. |
| 14 | 我們若 將起初 確實的 信心 堅持 到 底， 就在基督 裡有 分了。 | For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; |
| 15 | 經上 說：「你們今日 若 聽 他的 話，就不 可硬著 心，像 惹他發怒的 日子一樣。」 | While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. |
| 16 | 那時，聽見 他話惹 他發怒的是誰呢？豈 不 是跟著 摩西 從 埃及 出來 的眾人嗎？ | For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. |
| 17 | 神四十 年之久，又 厭煩 誰呢？豈不 是那些犯罪、屍首 倒 在 曠野 的人嗎？ | But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? |
| 18 | 又 向誰 起誓，不 容他們進 入 他的 安息呢？豈不是 向那些不信從的人嗎？ | And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? |
| 19 | 這樣 看 來，他們不 能 進入 安息是因為 不信的緣故了。 | So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. |
