| 2 | 地 是 空虛 混沌，淵面 黑暗； 神 的靈 運行 在 水 面上。 | And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. |
| 3 | 神 說：「要有 光」，就有了 光。 | And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. |
| 4 | 神 看 光 是好的， 就把 光 暗 分開了。 | And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. |
| 5 | 神 稱 光為「晝」，稱 暗為「夜」。有 晚上，有 早晨，這是頭一 日。 | And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. |
| 6 | 神 說：「諸水 之間 要有 空氣，將 水 分為上下。」 | And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. |

| 9 | 神 說：「天 下 的水 要聚 在 一 處，使旱地 露出來。」事就這樣 成了。 | And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. |
| 10 | 神 稱 旱地為「地」，稱 水 的聚處為「海」。 神 看著 是好的。 | And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. |
| 11 | 神 說：「地 要發生 青草 和結 種子 的菜蔬，並結 果子 的樹木，各從其類，果子 都包著核。」 事就這樣 成了。 | And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. |

| 15 | 並要 發光 在天 空，普照 在 地上。」事就這樣 成了。 | And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. |
| 16 | 於是 神 造了 兩個 大 光， 大的 管 晝， 小的 管 夜，又造 眾星， | And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. |
| 17 | 就把這些光 擺列 在天 空，普照 在 地上， | And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, |
| 18 | 管理 晝 夜，分別 明 暗。 神 看著 是好的。 | And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. |
| 19 | 有 晚上，有 早晨，是第四 日。 | And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. |
| 20 | 神 說：「水 要多多滋生 有生命 的物；要有雀鳥 飛 在 地面以上，天 空 之中。」 | And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. |
| 21 | 神 就造出 大 魚 和 水 中所 滋生 各樣 有生命 的動 物，各從其類；又造出 各樣 飛 鳥，各從其類。 神 看著 是好的。 | And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. |
| 22 | 神 就賜福給這一切，說：「滋生 繁多，充滿 海中 的水；雀鳥 也要多生 在地上。」 | And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. |
| 23 | 有 晚上，有 早晨，是第五 日。 | And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. |
| 24 | 神 說：「地 要生出 活 物來，各從其類；牲畜、昆蟲、野獸，各從其類。」事就這樣 成了。 | And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. |
| 25 | 於是 神 造出 野獸，各從其類； 牲畜，各從其類； 地上 一切 昆蟲，各從其類。 神 看著 是好的。 | And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. |
| 26 | 神 說：「我們要照著我們的形像、按著我們的樣式 造 人，使他們管理 海 裡的魚、空 中的鳥、地上的牲畜，和全 地，並地上 所爬的 一切 昆蟲。」 | And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. |
| 27 | 神 就照著自己的形像 造 人，乃是照著他 的形像 造 男 造 女。 | So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. |
| 28 | 神 就賜福 給他們， 又對他們 說：「要生養 眾多，遍滿 地面，治理這地，也要管理 海 裡的魚、空 中的鳥，和地上 各樣 行動的 活物。」 | And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. |
| 29 | 神 說：「看哪，我將 遍 地 上 一切 結 種子 的菜蔬 和 一切 樹 上 所 結 有核 的果子 全賜 給你們 作 食物。 | And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. |
| 30 | 至於 地上 的走獸和 空中 的飛鳥，並各樣 爬 在 地上有 生命 的物，我將 青 草 賜給牠們作食物。」事就這樣 成了。 | And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. |
