| 3 | 這 五王都 在 西訂 谷 會合；西訂谷就是 鹽 海。 | All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea. |
| 4 | 他們已經事奉 基大老瑪 十二 年，到十三 年 就背叛了。 | Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled. |

| 10 | 西訂 谷 有許多 石漆 坑。所多瑪 王 和蛾摩拉 王 逃跑，有掉在坑裡的，其餘 的人都往山 上逃跑。 | And the vale of Siddim was full of slimepits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they that remained fled to the mountain. |

| 13 | 有一個逃 出來 的人告訴 希伯來人 亞伯蘭；亞伯蘭 正住 在亞摩利人 幔利 的橡樹那裡。幔利和以實各 並亞乃 都是弟兄，曾與 亞伯蘭 聯盟。 | And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with Abram. |
| 14 | 亞伯蘭 聽見他姪兒被擄去，就率領 他家 裡生 養的精練 壯丁三 百 一十 八人，直追 到 但， | And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan. |
| 15 | 便在夜間，自己 同僕人 分隊 殺敗 敵人，又追 到 大馬士革 北邊 的 何把， | And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus. |
| 16 | 將 被擄掠的一切 財物 奪回來，連 他姪兒 羅得 和他的財物，以及 婦女、 人民也都奪回來。 | And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people. |
| 17 | 亞伯蘭殺敗 基大老瑪 和 與他 同盟的 王 回來的時候，所多瑪 王 出來，在 沙微 谷 迎接他；沙微谷就是 王 谷。 | And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king’s dale. |
| 18 | 又有撒冷 王 麥基洗德 帶著 餅 和酒出來迎接；他是 至高 神的 祭司。 | And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. |
| 19 | 他為亞伯蘭祝福，說：「願天 地 的主、至高的 神 賜福 與亞伯蘭！ | And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: |
| 20 | 至高的 神 把敵人 交 在你手裡，是應當稱頌的！」亞伯蘭就把所得的 拿出十分之一來，給 麥基洗德。 | And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all. |
| 21 | 所多瑪 王 對 亞伯蘭 說：「你把人口 給 我，財物 你自己 拿去吧！」 | And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself. |
| 22 | 亞伯蘭 對 所多瑪 王 說：「我已經向 天 地 的主─至高的 神 耶和華 起誓： | And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the Lord, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth, |
| 23 | 凡是 你的 東西，就是 一根線、 一根鞋 帶，我都不 拿，免得 你說：『我 使 亞伯蘭 富足！』 | That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich: |
| 24 | 只有 僕人 所 吃的，並與我 同行 的 亞乃、以實各、幔利 所應得的分，可以任憑他們 拿 去。」 | Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take their portion. |
