| 1 | 利慕伊勒 王 的言語，是 他母親 教訓他 的真言。 | The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him. |
| 2 | 我的兒啊， 我腹中 生的兒啊， 我許願 得的兒啊！我當怎樣教訓你呢？ | What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows? |
| 3 | 不要 將你的精力 給 婦女；也不要有敗壞 君王 的行為。 | Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings. |
| 4 | 利慕伊勒啊，君王喝酒，君王 喝 酒 不相宜；王子 說濃酒 在那裡 也不相宜； | It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink: |
| 5 | 恐怕 喝了 就忘記 律例，顛倒 一切 困苦 人 的是非。 | Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted. |
| 6 | 可以把濃酒 給 將亡的人喝，把清酒 給苦 心的人喝， | Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts. |
| 7 | 讓他喝了，就忘記 他的貧窮，不 再 記念 他的苦楚。 | Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more. |
| 8 | 你當為啞巴（或譯：不能自辯的）開 口，為 一切 孤獨的 伸冤。 | Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. |
| 9 | 你當開 口 按公義 判斷，為困苦 和窮乏的 辨屈。 | Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy. |
| 10 | 才德的 婦人 誰 能得著呢？她的價值 遠勝過 珍珠。 | Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. |
| 11 | 她丈夫 心裡 倚靠 她，必不 缺少 利益； | The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. |
| 12 | 她一 生 使丈夫有 益 無 損。 | She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. |
| 13 | 她尋找 羊羢 和麻，甘心 用手 做工。 | She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. |
| 14 | 她 好像商 船 從遠方 運 糧 來， | She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar. |
| 15 | 未到黎明 她就起來，把食物 分給 家中的人，將當做的工 分派婢女。 | She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. |
| 16 | 她想得 田地 就買來；用手 所得之利 栽種 葡萄園。 | She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. |
| 17 | 她以能力 束 腰，使膀臂 有力。 | She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. |
| 18 | 她覺得 所經營的 有利；她的燈 終夜 不 滅。 | She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. |
| 19 | 她手 拿 撚線竿，手 把 紡線車。 | She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. |
| 20 | 她張 手 賙濟困苦人，伸 手 幫補窮乏人。 | She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. |
| 21 | 她不 因下雪 為家裡的人 擔心，因為 全 家 都穿著 朱紅衣服。 | She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. |
| 22 | 她為自己 製作 繡花毯子；她的衣服 是細麻 和紫色布做的。 | She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. |
| 23 | 她丈夫 在城門口 與 本地 的長老 同坐，為眾人所認識。 | Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. |
| 24 | 她做 細麻布衣裳 出賣，又將腰帶 賣 與商家。 | She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. |
| 25 | 能力 和威儀 是她的衣服；她想到日 後的景況 就喜笑。 | Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. |
| 26 | 她開 口 就發智慧；她舌 上 有仁慈的 法則。 | She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. |
| 27 | 她觀察 家務，並不 吃 閒 飯。 | She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. |
| 28 | 她的兒女 起來 稱她有福；她的丈夫 也稱讚她， | Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. |
| 29 | 說：才德的 女子 很多，惟獨你 超過 一切。 | Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. |
| 30 | 艷麗 是虛假的，美容 是虛浮的；惟敬畏 耶和華 的婦女 必 得稱讚。 | Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. |
| 31 | 願她 享受 操作 所得的；願她的工作 在城門口 榮耀她。 | Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. |
