| 1 | 列國啊，要近前來 聽！眾民哪，要側耳而聽！地 和其上所充滿的，世界 和其中一切 所出的 都應當聽！ | Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it. |
| 2 | 因為 耶和華 向 萬 國 發忿恨，向 他們的全 軍 發烈怒，將他們滅盡，交出 他們受殺戮。 | For the indignation of the Lord is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter. |
| 3 | 被殺的 必然拋棄，屍首 臭氣 上騰；諸山 被他們的血 融化。 | Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. |
| 4 | 天上 的萬 象 都要消沒；天 被捲起，好像書卷。其上的萬 象 要殘敗，像葡萄樹的 葉子 殘敗，又像無花果樹的 葉子殘敗一樣。 | And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree. |

| 6 | 耶和華的 刀 滿了 血，用脂油 和羊羔、公山羊 的血，並公綿羊 腰子 的脂油 滋潤的；因為 耶和華 在波斯拉 有獻祭的事，在以東 地 大 行殺戮。 | The sword of the Lord is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the Lord hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea. |

| 9 | 以東的河水 要變 為石油，塵埃 要變為硫磺；地土 成為 燒著的 石油， | And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch. |
| 10 | 晝 夜 總不 熄滅，煙氣 永遠 上騰，必世世 代代 成為荒廢，永永遠遠 無人 經過。 | It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever. |
| 11 | 鵜鶘、箭豬 卻要得為業；貓頭鷹、烏鴉 要住 在其間。耶和華 必將空虛的 準繩，混沌的 線鉈，拉 在其上。 | But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness. |
| 12 | 以東人要召 貴冑 來治國；那裡 卻無一個，首領 也都 歸 於無有。 | They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none shall be there, and all her princes shall be nothing. |
| 13 | 以東的宮殿 要長 荊棘；保障 要長蒺藜 和刺草；要作 野狗 的住處，鴕鳥 的居所。 | And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls. |
| 14 | 曠野 的走獸要和 豺狼 相遇；野山羊 要與 伴偶 對叫。夜間的怪物 必 在那裡 棲身，自 找 安歇之處。 | The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest. |
| 15 | 箭蛇 要在那裡 做窩，下蛋，菢蛋，生子，聚 子在其影下；鷂鷹 各 與伴偶 聚集 在那裡。 | There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate. |
| 16 | 你們要查考 宣讀 耶和華 的書。這 都無 一 缺少，無 一 沒有 伴偶；因為 我的口 已經吩咐，他的靈 將他們聚集。 | Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them. |
| 17 | 他 也為他們 拈 鬮，又親手 用準繩 給他們 分地；他們必永 得為業，世世 代代 住 在其間。 | And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein. |
