| 2 | 約翰便將 神 的道 和 耶穌 基督 的見證，凡 自己所看見 的都證明出來。 | Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. |
| 3 | 念 這書 上預言 的和 那些聽見 又 遵守 其中 所記載的，都是有福的，因為 日期 近了。 | Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. |

| 11 | 「你所看見 的 當寫 在書 上， 達與 以弗所、 士每拿、 別迦摩、 推雅推喇、 撒狄、 非拉鐵非、 老底嘉 那 七個 教會。」 | Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. |

| 14 | 他的 頭 與 髮 皆白，如 白羊毛， 如 雪； 眼目 如同 火 焰； | His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; |
| 15 | 腳 好像 在爐 中 鍛鍊 光明的銅； 聲音 如同 眾 水 的聲音。 | And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. |
| 16 | 他 右 手 拿著 七 星， 從 他 口中 出來 一把兩刃的 利 劍； 面貌 如同 烈日 放光。 | And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. |
| 17 | 我一看見，就仆倒 在 他 腳前，像死了 一樣。 他 用右 手按著 我，說：「不要 懼怕！我 是 首先的， 我是末後的， | And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: |
| 18 | 又 是那存活的； 我曾 死過， 現在又 活了，直活到 永永遠遠；並且 拿著 死亡 和 陰間 的鑰匙。 | I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. |
| 19 | 所以 你要把所 看見的，和 現在的 事，並 將來 必成的 事，都寫出來。 | Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; |
| 20 | 論到你所 看見、在我 右手 中 的七 星 和 七個 金 燈臺 的奧祕，那七 星 就是 七個 教會 的使者， 七 燈臺 就是 七個 教會。」 | The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. |
