| 2 | 耶和華 如此 說：脫離 刀劍 的就是以色列 人。我使他享 安息的時候，他曾在曠野 蒙 恩。 | Thus saith the Lord, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest. |
| 3 | 古時（或譯：從遠方）耶和華向以色列（原文是我）顯現，說：我以永遠 的愛 愛你，因 此 我以慈愛 吸引你。 | The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. |

| 9 | 他們要哭泣 而來。我要照他們懇求 的引導他們，使他們在 河 水 旁走 正直 的路，在其上 不致 絆跌；因為 我是 以色列的 父，以法蓮 是 我的長子。 | They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn. |

| 12 | 他們要來到 錫安 的高處 歌唱，又流 歸 耶和華 施恩之地，就是有 五穀、 新酒，和 油，並 羊羔、牛犢之地。他們的心 必 像澆灌的 園子；他們也不 再 有一點愁煩。 | Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the Lord, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all. |

| 15 | 耶和華 如此 說：在拉瑪 聽見 號咷 痛 哭 的聲音，是拉結 哭 她兒女，不肯 受安慰，因為 他們都不在了。 | Thus saith the Lord; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not. |
| 16 | 耶和華 如此 說：你禁止 聲音 不要哀哭，禁止眼目 不要流淚，因 你所做之工 必有 賞賜；他們必從敵 國 歸回。這是耶和華 說的。 | Thus saith the Lord; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the Lord; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. |
| 17 | 耶和華 說：你末後 必有 指望；你的兒女 必回 到自己的境界。 | And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border. |
| 18 | 我 聽見 以法蓮 為自己悲歎說：你責罰我，我便受責罰，像不 慣負軛 的牛犢一樣。求你使我回轉，我便回轉，因為 你是 耶和華─我的 神。 | I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the Lord my God. |
| 19 | 我回轉 以後 就真正懊悔；受教 以後 就拍 腿歎息；我因 擔當 幼年 的凌辱 就 抱愧 蒙羞。 | Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth. |
| 20 | 耶和華 說：以法蓮 是我的 愛 子嗎？是 可喜悅 的孩子嗎？ 我每逢 責備 他，仍 深 顧念他；所以 我的心腸 戀慕 他；我必要 憐憫他。 | Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the Lord. |

| 23 | 萬軍 之耶和華─以色列的 神 如此 說：我使 被擄之人 歸回的時候，他們在猶大 地 和其中的城邑 必再 這 樣 說：「公義 的居所啊，聖 山哪，願耶和華 賜福給你。 | Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The Lord bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness. |
| 24 | 猶大 和 屬猶大城邑的人，農夫 和放 羊的人，要一同 住 在其中。 | And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks. |
| 25 | 疲乏 的人， 我使他飽飫； 愁煩 的人，我使他知足。」 | For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul. |
| 26 | 先知說：「 我醒了，覺著 睡 得香甜！」 | Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me. |
| 27 | 耶和華 說：「 日子 將到，我要把人 的種 和牲畜 的種 播種 在 以色列 家 和 猶大 家。 | Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast. |
| 28 | 我先前怎樣 留意 將他們 拔出、拆毀、毀壞、傾覆、苦害，也必 照樣 留意 將他們 建立、栽植。這是耶和華 說的。 | And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the Lord. |
| 29 | 當那些 日子，人不 再 說：父親 吃了 酸葡萄，兒子 的牙 酸倒了。 | In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge. |
| 30 | 但 各人 必因自己的罪 死亡；凡 吃 酸葡萄的，自己的牙 必酸倒。」 | But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge. |
| 31 | 耶和華 說：「 日子 將到，我要與 以色列 家 和 猶大 家 另立 新 約， | Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: |
| 32 | 不 像我拉著 他們祖宗 的手，領他們出 埃及 地 的時候，與 他們所 立 的約。 我 雖作他們的 丈夫，他們 卻背了 我的約。這是耶和華 說的。」 | Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: |
| 33 | 耶和華 說：「那些 日子 以後，我與 以色列 家 所 立 的約 乃是 這樣：我要將 我的律法 放 在他們裡面，寫 在 他們心上。我要作 他們的 神，他們 要作 我的 子民。 | But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. |
| 34 | 他們各人 不 再 教導 自己的鄰舍 和 自己的弟兄 說：『你該認識 耶和華』，因為 他們從最小的 到 至大的 都 必認識 我。 我要赦免 他們的罪孽，不 再 記念 他們的罪惡。這是耶和華 說的。」 | And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. |
| 35 | 那使 太陽 白日 發光，使星 月 有定例，黑夜 發亮，又攪動 大海，使海中波浪 匉訇的，萬軍 之耶和華 是他的名。他 如此 說： | Thus saith the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts is his name: |
| 36 | 這些 定例 若 能在我面前 廢掉，以色列 的後裔 也就 在我面前 斷絕，永遠 不再成 國。這是耶和華 說的。 | If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. |
| 37 | 耶和華 如此 說：若 能量度 上 天，尋察 下 地 的根基，我 就 因 以色列 後裔 一切 所 行 的棄絕 他們。這是耶和華 說的。 | Thus saith the Lord; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the Lord. |
| 38 | 耶和華 說：「 日子 將到，這城 必為耶和華 建造，從哈楠業 樓 直到角 門。 | Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the city shall be built to the Lord from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner. |
| 39 | 準 繩 要往 外 量出，直到 迦立 山，又轉到 歌亞。 | And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath. |
| 40 | 拋屍 的全 谷 和倒灰之處，並一切 田地，直到 汲淪 溪，又直到 東方 馬 門 的拐角，都要歸耶和華 為聖，不 再拔出，不 再 傾覆，直到永遠。」 | And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the Lord; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever. |
