| 2 | 「耶和華 對我 如此 說：你 做 繩索 與軛，加 在 自己的頸項上， | Thus saith the Lord to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck, |
| 3 | 藉那些來到 耶路撒冷 見 猶大 王 西底家 的使臣 之手，把繩索與軛送 到 以東 王、 摩押 王、 亞捫 王、 泰爾 王、 西頓 王那裡， | And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah; |

| 10 | 他們 向你們 說假 預言，要叫 你們 遷移，遠離 本地，以致我將你們 趕出去，使你們滅亡。 | For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish. |
| 11 | 但哪一邦 肯把 頸項 放 在巴比倫 王 的軛下 服事他，我必使那邦仍在 本地 存留，得以耕種 居住。這是耶和華 說的。」 | But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith the Lord; and they shall till it, and dwell therein. |
| 12 | 我就 照這 一切 的話 對 猶大 王 西底家 說：「要把 你們的頸項 放 在巴比倫 王 的軛下，服事 他 和他的百姓，便得存活。 | I spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live. |
| 13 | 你 和你的百姓 為何 要因刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫 死亡，正如 耶和華 論 到 不 服事 巴比倫 王 的那 國說的話呢？ | Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the Lord hath spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon? |
| 14 | 不可 聽 那些先知 對你們 所說 的話；他們說：『你們不致 服事 巴比倫 王』，其實 他們 向你們 說假 預言。 | Therefore hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you. |
| 15 | 耶和華 說：『 我並沒有 打發他們，他們 卻託我的名 說假 預言，好使 我將你們 和向你們 說預言 的那些先知 趕出去， 一同滅亡。』」 | For I have not sent them, saith the Lord, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that ye might perish, ye, and the prophets that prophesy unto you. |
| 16 | 我又對 祭司 和 這 眾 民 說：「耶和華 如此 說：你們不可 聽 那先知 對你們 所說 的預言。他們說：『 耶和華 殿 中的器皿 快要 從巴比倫 帶回來』；其實 他們 向你們 說假 預言。 | Also I spake to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus saith the Lord; Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the Lord’s house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you. |
| 17 | 不可 聽從 他們，只管服事 巴比倫 王 便得存活。這 城 何致 變為 荒場呢？ | Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live: wherefore should this city be laid waste? |
| 18 | 他們 若 果是先知， 有 耶和華 的話 臨到他們，讓 他們祈求 萬軍 之耶和華，使那在耶和華 殿中 和猶大 王 宮內，並耶路撒冷 剩下 的器皿，不被 帶到巴比倫 去。 | But if they be prophets, and if the word of the Lord be with them, let them now make intercession to the Lord of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon. |
| 19 | （因為 萬軍 之耶和華 論 到 柱子、 銅海、 盆座，並 剩 在這 城裡的 器皿， | For thus saith the Lord of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city, |
