| 2 | 「當聽 這 約 的話，告訴 猶大 人 和 耶路撒冷 的居民， | Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem; |
| 3 | 對他們 說，耶和華─以色列的 神 如此 說： 不 聽從 這 約 之話 的人 必受咒詛。 | And say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel; Cursed be the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant, |
| 4 | 這約是我將 你們列祖 從埃及 地 領出來、脫離鐵 爐 的那日 所 吩咐 他們的，說：『你們要聽從 我的話，照我一切 所 吩咐的 去行。』這樣，你們就作 我的 子民，我 也作 你們的 神； | Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God: |

| 8 | 他們卻不 聽從，不 側 耳而聽，竟隨從自己 頑梗的 惡 心 去行。所以我使 這 約 中一切 咒詛的話 臨 到他們身上；這約 是我吩咐 他們行的，他們卻不 去行。」 | Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do; but they did them not. |
| 9 | 耶和華 對我 說：「在猶大 人 和耶路撒冷 居民中 有 同謀背叛的事。 | And the Lord said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem. |
| 10 | 他們轉去 效法 他們的先 祖， 不肯 聽 我的話，犯罪作孽，又 隨 從 別 神，事奉它。以色列 家 和猶大 家 背了 我與 他們列祖 所 立的 約。」 | They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers. |
| 11 | 所以 耶和華 如此 說：「我 必使災禍 臨 到他們，是 他們不 能 逃脫 的。他們必向我 哀求，我卻不 聽。 | Therefore thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them. |
| 12 | 那時，猶大 城邑 的人和耶路撒冷 的居民 要去 哀求 他們 燒香 所 供奉的神；只是遭難 的時候，這些神毫 不 拯救 他們。 | Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble. |
| 13 | 猶大啊， 你神 的數目 與你城 的數目 相等；你為那可恥 的巴力 所築 燒香的 壇 也與耶路撒冷 街道 的數目相等。 | For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal. |
| 14 | 「所以你 不要 為 這 百姓 祈禱，不要 為他們 呼 求 禱告；因為 他們遭難 向我 哀求 的時候，我必不 應允。 | Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble. |
| 15 | 我所親愛的，既行 許多 淫亂，聖 肉 也離了 你，你在我殿中 做甚麼呢？ 你作惡 就 喜樂。 | What hath my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest. |
| 16 | 從前耶和華 給你起 名 叫青 橄欖樹，又華美 又結好 果子；如今他用鬨 嚷 之聲，點 火 在其上，枝子 也被折斷。 | The Lord called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken. |
| 17 | 原來栽培 你 的萬軍 之耶和華 已經說，要降禍 攻擊你，是因 以色列 家 和猶大 家 行惡，向巴力 燒香，惹我發怒，是 自作 自受。」 | For the Lord of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal. |
| 18 | 耶和華 指示我，我就 知道；你將他們所行的 給我指明。 | And the Lord hath given me knowledge of it, and I know it: then thou shewedst me their doings. |
| 19 | 我 卻像柔順的 羊羔 被牽到 宰殺之地；我並不 知道 他們設計 謀 害我，說：我們把樹 連果子 都滅了吧！將他從活人 之地 剪除，使他的名 不 再 被紀念。 | But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered. |
| 20 | 按公義 判斷、察驗 人肺腑 心腸 的萬軍 之耶和華啊，我卻要見 你在他們身上 報仇，因 我將 我的案件 向你 稟明了。 | But, O Lord of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause. |
| 21 | 所以，耶和華 論到 尋索 你命 的亞拿突 人 如此 說：「他們說：你不要 奉耶和華 的名 說預言，免得 你死 在我們手中。 | Therefore thus saith the Lord of the men of Anathoth, that seek thy life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of the Lord, that thou die not by our hand: |
| 22 | 所以 萬軍 之耶和華 如此 說：看哪，我必刑罰 他們；他們的少年人 必被刀劍 殺死，他們的兒 女 必因饑荒 滅亡， | Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine: |
| 23 | 並且沒 有 餘剩的 人留給他們；因為 在追討 之年，我必使災禍 臨 到 亞拿突 人。」 | And there shall be no remnant of them: for I will bring evil upon the men of Anathoth, even the year of their visitation. |
