| 1 | 以利沙 曾 對 所 救活 之子 的那婦人 說：「你 和你的全家 要起身 往 你可住 的地方 去住，因為 耶和華 命 饑荒 降 在 這地 七 年。」 | Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the Lord hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years. |
| 2 | 婦人 就起身，照神 人 的話 帶著全家 往非利士 地 去，住了 七 年。 | And the woman arose, and did after the saying of the man of God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in the land of the Philistines seven years. |
| 3 | 七 年 完了，那婦人 從非利士 地 回來，就出去 為自己的房屋 田地 哀告 王。 | And it came to pass at the seven years’ end, that the woman returned out of the land of the Philistines: and she went forth to cry unto the king for her house and for her land. |

| 5 | 基哈西 告訴 王 以利沙如何 使 死人 復活，恰巧 以利沙所 救活、 她兒子 的那婦人 為 自己的房屋 田地 來哀告 王。基哈西 說：「我主 我王，這 就是那婦人，這 是她的兒子，就是 以利沙 所救活的。」 | And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored a dead body to life, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said, My lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life. |

So the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day that she left the land, even until now. |

| 8 | 王 就吩咐 哈薛 說：「你 帶著 禮物 去 見 神 人，託他 求問 耶和華，我這 病 能好不能好？」 | And the king said unto Hazael, Take a present in thine hand, and go, meet the man of God, and enquire of the Lord by him, saying, Shall I recover of this disease? |
| 9 | 於是哈薛 用 四十 個駱駝，馱著 大馬士革 的各樣 美物 為禮物，去 見以利沙。到了他那裡，站 在他面前，說：「你兒子 亞蘭 王便．哈達 打發我 來見你，他問說：『我這 病 能好不能好？』」 | So Hazael went to meet him, and took a present with him, even of every good thing of Damascus, forty camels’ burden, and came and stood before him, and said, Thy son Ben–hadad king of Syria hath sent me to thee, saying, Shall I recover of this disease? |
| 10 | 以利沙 對哈薛 說：「你回去 告訴 他說，這病必 能好；但耶和華 指示我， 他必 要死。」 | And Elisha said unto him, Go, say unto him, Thou mayest certainly recover: howbeit the Lord hath shewed me that he shall surely die. |
| 11 | 神人定 睛 看著哈薛，甚至 他慚愧。神 人 就哭了； | And he settled his countenance stedfastly, until he was ashamed: and the man of God wept. |
| 12 | 哈薛 說：「我主 為甚麼 哭？」回答 說：「因為 我知道 你必 苦害 以色列 人，用火 焚燒 他們的保障，用刀 殺死 他們的壯丁，摔死 他們的嬰孩，剖開 他們的孕婦。」 | And Hazael said, Why weepeth my lord? And he answered, Because I know the evil that thou wilt do unto the children of Israel: their strong holds wilt thou set on fire, and their young men wilt thou slay with the sword, and wilt dash their children, and rip up their women with child. |
| 13 | 哈薛 說：「 你僕人 算甚麼，不過是一條狗，焉能 行 這 大 事呢？」以利沙 回答說：「耶和華 指示我，你 必作 亞蘭 王。」 | And Hazael said, But what, is thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The Lord hath shewed me that thou shalt be king over Syria. |
| 14 | 哈薛離開 以利沙，回去 見 他的主人。主人問他 說：「以利沙 對你 說 甚麼？」回答說：「他告訴 我 你必 能好。」 | So he departed from Elisha, and came to his master; who said to him, What said Elisha to thee? And he answered, He told me that thou shouldest surely recover. |
| 15 | 次日，哈薛拿 被窩 浸 在水中，蒙 住 王的臉，王就死了。於是哈薛 篡了他 的位。 | And it came to pass on the morrow, that he took a thick cloth, and dipped it in water, and spread it on his face, so that he died: and Hazael reigned in his stead. |
| 16 | 以色列 王 亞哈 的兒子 約蘭 第五 年，猶大 王 約沙法還在位的時候，約沙法 的兒子 約蘭 登基 作了猶大 王。 | And in the fifth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel, Jehoshaphat being then king of Judah, Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah began to reign. |
| 17 | 約蘭登基 的時候年 三十 二 歲，在耶路撒冷 作王 八 年。 | Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. |
| 18 | 他行 以色列 諸王 所 行 的，與亞哈 家一樣；因為 他娶了亞哈 的女兒 為 妻，行 耶和華 眼 中看為惡的事。 | And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as did the house of Ahab: for the daughter of Ahab was his wife: and he did evil in the sight of the Lord. |
| 19 | 耶和華 卻因 他僕人 大衛的緣故，仍不 肯 滅絕 猶大，照他所 應許 大衛的話，永遠 賜 燈光 與他的子孫。 | Yet the Lord would not destroy Judah for David his servant’s sake, as he promised him to give him alway a light, and to his children. |
| 20 | 約蘭年間，以東人 背叛 猶大，脫離他的權 下，自己 立 王。 | In his days Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah, and made a king over themselves. |
| 21 | 約蘭 率領 所有的 戰車 往撒益 去， 夜間 起來，攻打 圍困 他的 以東人 和 車 兵長；猶大兵 就逃跑，各回各家去了。 | So Joram went over to Zair, and all the chariots with him: and he rose by night, and smote the Edomites which compassed him about, and the captains of the chariots: and the people fled into their tents. |
| 22 | 這樣，以東人 背叛 猶大，脫離他的權 下，直到 今 日。 那 時 立拿人 也背叛了。 | Yet Edom revolted from under the hand of Judah unto this day. Then Libnah revolted at the same time. |
| 23 | 約蘭 其餘 的事，凡 他所 行的， 都寫 在 猶大 列王 記上。 | And the rest of the acts of Joram, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? |
| 24 | 約蘭 與 他列祖 同睡，葬 在大衛 城 他列祖的墳地裡。他兒子 亞哈謝 接續他 作王。 | And Joram slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David: and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead. |
| 25 | 以色列 王 亞哈 的兒子 約蘭 十 二 年，猶大 王 約蘭 的兒子 亞哈謝 登基。 | In the twelfth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel did Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah begin to reign. |
| 26 | 他 登基 的時候年 二十 二 歲，在耶路撒冷 作王 一 年。他母親 名 叫亞她利雅，是以色列 王 暗利 的孫女。 | Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign; and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Athaliah, the daughter of Omri king of Israel. |

| 28 | 他與 亞哈 的兒子 約蘭 同往基列 的拉末 去，與 亞蘭 王 哈薛 爭戰。亞蘭人 打傷了 約蘭， | And he went with Joram the son of Ahab to the war against Hazael king of Syria in Ramoth–gilead; and the Syrians wounded Joram. |
| 29 | 約蘭 王 回 到耶斯列，醫治 在拉末 與 亞蘭 王 哈薛 打仗 的時候 所 受 的 傷。猶大 王 約蘭 的兒子 亞哈謝 因為 亞哈 的兒子 約蘭 病了，就下 到耶斯列 看望 他。 | And king Joram went back to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick. |
