| 1 | 那 時，希西家 病得 要死。亞摩斯 的兒子 先知 以賽亞 去 見他，對他 說：「耶和華 如此 說：『你 當留遺命 與你的家，因為 你必死，不能 活了。』」 | In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live. |
| 2 | 希西家就轉 臉 朝 牆，禱告 耶和華 說： | Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the Lord, saying, |
| 3 | 「耶和華啊，求 你記念 我在你面前 怎樣存完全的 心，按誠實 行事，又做 你眼中 所看為善的。」希西家 就痛 哭了。 | I beseech thee, O Lord, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. |
| 4 | 以賽亞 出來，還沒有 到中 院（院：或譯城），耶和華 的話 就臨 到他，說： | And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying, |
| 5 | 「你回去 告訴 我民 的君 希西家說：耶和華─你祖 大衛的 神 如此 說：『我聽見了 你的禱告，看見了 你的眼淚，我必 醫治 你；到第三 日，你必上 到耶和華 的殿。 | Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord. |
| 6 | 我必加增 你十 五 年 的壽數，並且我要救你 和 這 城 脫離亞述 王 的手。我為自己 和 我僕人 大衛的緣故，必保護 這 城。』」 | And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake. |
| 7 | 以賽亞 說：「當取 一塊無花果 餅來。」人就取了來，貼 在 瘡上，王便痊癒了。 | And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered. |
| 8 | 希西家 問 以賽亞 說：「 耶和華 必醫治 我，到第三 日，我能上 耶和華 的殿，有甚麼 兆頭呢？」 | And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the Lord will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the Lord the third day? |
| 9 | 以賽亞 說：「耶和華 必 成就 他所 說的。這是 他 給你 的兆頭：你要日影 向前進 十 度呢？是 要往後退 十 度呢？」 | And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the Lord, that the Lord will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees? |
| 10 | 希西家 回答說：「日影 向前進 十 度 容易， 我要日影 往後 退 十 度。」 | And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees. |
| 11 | 先知 以賽亞 求告 耶和華，耶和華就使 亞哈斯 的日晷 向前進 的 日影，往後 退了 十 度。 | And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the Lord: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz. |
| 12 | 那 時，巴比倫 王 巴拉但 的兒子米羅達‧巴拉但 聽見 希西家 病而痊癒，就送 書信 和禮物 給 他。 | At that time Berodach–baladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick. |
| 13 | 希西家 聽從 使者的話，就把 他寶 庫的 金子、 銀子、 香料、 貴重的 膏油，和 他武 庫 的一切軍器，並他所有的 財寶，都 給他們看。他家中 和他全 國之內，希西家 沒 有 一樣 不 給他們看的。 | And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and shewed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not. |
| 14 | 於是先知 以賽亞 來 見 希西家 王，問他 說：「這些 人 說 甚麼？他們從哪裡 來 見你？」希西家 說：「他們從遠 方 的巴比倫 來。」 | Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon. |
| 15 | 以賽亞說：「他們在你家裡 看見了 甚麼？」希西家 說：「 凡 我家中 所有的，他們都看見了；我財寶 中沒 有 一樣 不 給他們看的。」 | And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them. |
| 16 | 以賽亞 對 希西家 說：「你要聽 耶和華 的話， | And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the Lord. |
| 17 | 日子 必到，凡 你家裡 所有的，並 你列祖 積蓄 到 如 今的，都要被擄 到巴比倫去，不 留下 一樣。這是耶和華 說的。 | Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the Lord. |
| 18 | 並且 從你 本身 所 生 的眾子，其中必有被擄去 在巴比倫 王 宮 裡當 太監的。」 | And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon. |
| 19 | 希西家 對 以賽亞 說：「你所 說 耶和華 的話 甚好！ 若 在我的年日 中有 太平 和穩固的景況，豈不是好嗎？」 | Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the Lord which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days? |
| 20 | 希西家 其餘 的事 和 他的勇力，他怎樣 挖 池、挖 溝、引 水 入城，都 寫 在 猶大 列王 記上。 | And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? |
| 21 | 希西家 與 他列祖 同睡。他兒子 瑪拿西 接續他 作王。 | And Hezekiah slept with his fathers: and Manasseh his son reigned in his stead. |
