| 2 | 到 第三 年，猶大 王 約沙法 下去 見 以色列 王。 | And it came to pass in the third year, that Jehoshaphat the king of Judah came down to the king of Israel. |
| 3 | 以色列 王 對 臣僕 說：「你們不知道 基列 的拉末 是屬我們的嗎？我們 豈可靜坐不動，不從亞蘭 王 手 裡奪回來嗎？」 | And the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know ye that Ramoth in Gilead is ours, and we be still, and take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria? |
| 4 | 亞哈問 約沙法 說：「你肯同我 去 攻取 基列 的拉末嗎？」約沙法 對 以色列 王 說：「你 我不分彼此，我的民 與你的民一樣，我的馬 與你的馬一樣。」 | And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramoth–gilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses. |

And they said, Go up; for the Lord shall deliver it into the hand of the king. |

| 8 | 以色列 王 對 約沙法 說：「還有 一個 人，是音拉 的兒子 米該雅，我們可以託他 求問 耶和華。只是我 恨他；因為 他指著我 所說的預言，不 說吉語，單 說凶言。」約沙法 說：「王 不必 這樣 說。」 | And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the Lord: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so. |

| 15 | 米該雅到 王面前，王 問他 說：「米該雅啊，我們上去 攻取 基列 的拉末 可以 不可以？」他回答 說：「可以上去，必然得勝，耶和華 必將那城交 在王 的手中。」 | So he came to the king. And the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go against Ramoth–gilead to battle, or shall we forbear? And he answered him, Go, and prosper: for the Lord shall deliver it into the hand of the king. |
| 16 | 王 對他 說：「我 當囑咐你 幾 次，你才 奉耶和華 的名 向我 說 實話呢？」 | And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the Lord? |
| 17 | 米該雅說：「我看見 以色列 眾民 散 在 山上，如同 沒有 牧人 的羊群一般。耶和華 說：『這民 沒有 主人，他們可以平平安安地 各 歸 各家去。』」 | And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and the Lord said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace. |
| 18 | 以色列 王 對 約沙法 說：「我豈沒有 告訴 你，這人指著我 所說的預言，不 說吉語 單 說凶言嗎？」 | And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil? |
| 19 | 米該雅說：「 你要聽 耶和華 的話！我看見 耶和華 坐 在 寶座上，天上 的萬 軍 侍立 在 他左 右。 | And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left. |
| 20 | 耶和華 說：『誰 去引誘 亞哈 上 基列 的拉末 去陣亡呢？』這個 就這樣 說，那個 就那樣 說。 | And the Lord said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth–gilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner. |
| 21 | 隨後有一個神靈 出來，站 在耶和華 面前，說：『我 去引誘他。』 | And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the Lord, and said, I will persuade him. |
| 22 | 耶和華 問他 說：『你用何法呢？』他說：『我去，要在他眾 先知 口中 作 謊言 的靈。』耶和華說：『這樣，你必 能 引誘他，你去 如此 行吧！』 | And the Lord said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so. |
| 23 | 現在 耶和華 使 謊言 的靈 入了你這些 先知 的口，並且耶和華 已經命定 降禍 與你。」 | Now therefore, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the Lord hath spoken evil concerning thee. |
| 24 | 基拿拿 的兒子 西底家 前來，打 米該雅 的 臉，說：「耶和華 的靈 從哪裡 離開 我 與你 說話呢？」 | But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the Lord from me to speak unto thee? |
| 25 | 米該雅 說：「你 進 嚴密 的屋子 藏躲 的 那 日，就必看見了。」 | And Micaiah said, Behold, thou shalt see in that day, when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself. |
| 26 | 以色列 王 說：「將 米該雅 帶 回，交給 邑 宰 亞們 和 王 的兒子 約阿施，說 | And the king of Israel said, Take Micaiah, and carry him back unto Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king’s son; |
| 27 | 王 如此 說，把 這個 人下 在監裡，使他受苦，吃 不飽 喝不足，等候 我平平安安地 回來。」 | And say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace. |
| 28 | 米該雅 說：「你若 能 平平安安地 回來，那就是耶和華 沒有 藉我 說這話了」；又說：「眾民哪，你們都 要聽！」 | And Micaiah said, If thou return at all in peace, the Lord hath not spoken by me. And he said, Hearken, O people, every one of you. |

| 30 | 以色列 王 對 約沙法 說：「我要改裝 上 陣，你 可以仍穿 王服。」以色列 王 就改裝 上 陣。 | And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and enter into the battle; but put thou on thy robes. And the king of Israel disguised himself, and went into the battle. |
| 31 | 先是亞蘭 王 吩咐 他的 三十 二個 車 兵長 說：「他們的兵將，無論 大 小，你們都不可 與他們爭戰， 只要 與 以色列 王爭戰。」 | But the king of Syria commanded his thirty and two captains that had rule over his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, save only with the king of Israel. |
| 32 | 車 兵長 看見 約沙法，便 說：「這必 是 以色列 王！」就轉過去 與他 爭戰，約沙法 便呼喊。 | And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, Surely it is the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him: and Jehoshaphat cried out. |
| 33 | 車 兵長 見 不 是 以色列 王，就轉去 不追他了。 | And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots perceived that it was not the king of Israel, that they turned back from pursuing him. |
| 34 | 有一人 隨便 開 弓，恰巧射入 以色列 王 的 甲 縫 裡。王對趕車的 說：「 我受了重傷，你轉 過車來，拉我 出 陣吧！」 | And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thine hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded. |
| 35 | 那 日，陣勢 越戰越猛，有人扶 王 站 在車上，抵擋 亞蘭人。到晚上，王就死了，血 從傷處 流 在 車 中。 | And the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up in his chariot against the Syrians, and died at even: and the blood ran out of the wound into the midst of the chariot. |
| 36 | 約在日 落的時候，有號令 傳遍 軍中，說：「各 歸 本城，各 歸 本地吧！」 | And there went a proclamation throughout the host about the going down of the sun, saying, Every man to his city, and every man to his own country. |
| 37 | 王 既死了，眾人將他送到 撒馬利亞， 就葬在那裡； | So the king died, and was brought to Samaria; and they buried the king in Samaria. |
| 38 | 又有人把 他的車 洗 在 撒馬利亞 的池旁（妓女 在那裡洗澡），狗 來舔 他的血，正如耶和華 所 說 的話。 | And one washed the chariot in the pool of Samaria; and the dogs licked up his blood; and they washed his armour; according unto the word of the Lord which he spake. |
| 39 | 亞哈 其餘 的事，凡 他所 行 的和他所 修造 的象牙 宮，並所 建築 的一切 城邑， 都寫 在 以色列 諸王 記上。 | Now the rest of the acts of Ahab, and all that he did, and the ivory house which he made, and all the cities that he built, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel? |
| 40 | 亞哈 與 他列祖 同睡。他兒子 亞哈謝 接續他 作王。 | So Ahab slept with his fathers; and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead. |
| 41 | 以色列 王 亞哈 第四 年，亞撒 的兒子 約沙法 登基 作了 猶大王。 | And Jehoshaphat the son of Asa began to reign over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel. |
| 42 | 約沙法 登基 的時候年 三十 五 歲，在耶路撒冷 作王 二十 五 年。他母親 名 叫阿蘇巴，乃示利希 的女兒。 | Jehoshaphat was thirty and five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi. |
| 43 | 約沙法行 他父親 亞撒所行的 道，不 偏離 左右，行 耶和華 眼中 看為正的事；只是 邱壇 還沒有 廢去，百姓 仍在那裡 獻祭 燒香。 | And he walked in all the ways of Asa his father; he turned not aside from it, doing that which was right in the eyes of the Lord: nevertheless the high places were not taken away; for the people offered and burnt incense yet in the high places. |
| 44 | 約沙法 與 以色列 王 和好。 | And Jehoshaphat made peace with the king of Israel. |
| 45 | 約沙法 其餘 的事 和他所 顯出 的勇力，並他怎樣 爭戰， 都寫 在 猶大 列王 記上。 | Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, and his might that he shewed, and how he warred, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? |
| 46 | 約沙法將他父親 亞撒 在世 所 剩下 的 孌童 都從 國 中除去了。 | And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land. |
| 47 | 那時以東 沒有 王，有總督 治理。 | There was then no king in Edom: a deputy was king. |
| 48 | 約沙法 製造 他施 船隻，要往 俄斐去，將金子運來；只是沒有 去，因為 船在以旬‧迦別 破壞了。 | Jehoshaphat made ships of Tharshish to go to Ophir for gold: but they went not; for the ships were broken at Ezion–geber. |
| 49 | 亞哈 的兒子 亞哈謝 對 約沙法 說：「容我的僕人 和 你的僕人 坐船 同去吧！」約沙法 卻不 肯。 | Then said Ahaziah the son of Ahab unto Jehoshaphat, Let my servants go with thy servants in the ships. But Jehoshaphat would not. |
| 50 | 約沙法 與 列祖 同睡。葬在 大衛 城 他列祖的墳地裡。他兒子 約蘭 接續他 作王。 | And Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Jehoram his son reigned in his stead. |

| 53 | 他照他父親 一切 所 行的，事奉 敬拜 巴力，惹 耶和華─以色列 神 的怒氣。 | For he served Baal, and worshipped him, and provoked to anger the Lord God of Israel, according to all that his father had done. |
