1 大衛 和眾首 領 分派 亞薩、希幔，並耶杜頓 的子孫 彈琴、鼓瑟、敲鈸、唱歌（原文是說預言；本章同）。他們供職 的人 數記在下面： Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was:
2 亞薩 的兒子 撒刻、約瑟、 尼探雅、亞薩利拉 都歸 亞薩 指教，遵 王 的旨意 唱歌。 Of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the hands of Asaph, which prophesied according to the order of the king.
3 耶杜頓 的兒子 基大利、西利、耶篩亞、哈沙比雅、瑪他提雅、示每共六人，都歸 他們父親 耶杜頓 指教，彈琴，唱歌， 稱謝，頌讚 耶和華。 Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the Lord.
4 希幔 的兒子 布基雅、瑪探雅、烏薛、細布業、耶利摩、哈拿尼雅、哈拿尼、以利亞他、基大利提、羅幔提‧以謝、約施比加沙、瑪羅提、何提、瑪哈秀； Of Heman: the sons of Heman; Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti–ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth:
5 這 都 是希幔的 兒子，吹 角頌讚。希幔奉 神 之命 作王 的先見。 神 賜給 希幔 十 四 個兒子，三 個女兒， All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
6 都 歸 他們父親 指教，在耶和華 的殿 唱歌、敲鈸、彈琴、鼓瑟，辦 神 殿 的事務。亞薩、耶杜頓、希幔 都是 王 所命定的。 All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the Lord, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king’s order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.
7 他們和 他們的弟兄 學習 頌讚 耶和華； 善於 歌唱的 共有 二百 八十 八人。 So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the Lord, even all that were cunning, was two hundred fourscore and eight.
8 這些人無論大 小，為師的、 為徒的，都一同 掣 籤 分了班次。 And they cast lots, ward against ward, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar.
9 掣籤的時候，第一 掣出來 的是亞薩的 兒子約瑟。第二 是基大利；他 和他弟兄 並兒子 共十 二人。 Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and sons were twelve:
10 第三 是撒刻；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The third to Zaccur, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
11 第四 是伊洗利；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The fourth to Izri, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
12 第五 是尼探雅；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The fifth to Nethaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
13 第六 是布基雅；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The sixth to Bukkiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
14 第七 是耶薩利拉；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The seventh to Jesharelah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
15 第八 是耶篩亞；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The eighth to Jeshaiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
16 第九 是瑪探雅；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The ninth to Mattaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
17 第十 是示每；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The tenth to Shimei, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
18 第十 一 是亞薩烈；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The eleventh to Azareel, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
19 第十 二 是哈沙比雅；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The twelfth to Hashabiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
20 第十 三 是書巴業；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The thirteenth to Shubael, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
21 第十 四 是瑪他提雅；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The fourteenth to Mattithiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
22 第十 五 是耶利摩；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The fifteenth to Jeremoth, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
23 第十 六 是哈拿尼雅；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The sixteenth to Hananiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
24 第十 七 是約施比加沙；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The seventeenth to Joshbekashah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
25 第十 八 是哈拿尼；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The eighteenth to Hanani, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
26 第十 九 是瑪羅提；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The nineteenth to Mallothi, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
27 第二十 是以利亞他；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The twentieth to Eliathah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
28 第二十 一 是何提；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The one and twentieth to Hothir, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
29 第二十 二 是基大利提；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The two and twentieth to Giddalti, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
30 第二十 三 是瑪哈秀；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The three and twentieth to Mahazioth, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
31 第二十 四是羅幔提‧以謝；他和他兒子 並弟兄 共十 二人。 The four and twentieth to Romamti–ezer, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve.
