| 1 | 波斯 王 塞魯士 元 年，耶和華 為要應驗 藉耶利米 口 所說的話， 就激動 波斯 王 塞魯士 的心， 使他下詔 通 告 全 國 說： | Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, |
| 2 | 「波斯 王 塞魯士 如此 說：『耶和華 天上的 神 已將天下 萬 國 賜 給我， 又囑咐 我 在猶大 的 耶路撒冷 為他 建造 殿宇。 | Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The Lord God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. |
