| 1 | 以色列 人哪， 你們全 家 是 我從埃及 地 領上來的，當聽 耶和華 攻擊你們的 話： | Hear this word that the Lord hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying, |
| 2 | 在地上 萬 族中，我只 認識 你們；因此，我必追討 你們的 一切 罪孽。 | You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities. |
| 3 | 二 人若 不 同心，豈能同 行呢？ | Can two walk together, except they be agreed? |
| 4 | 獅子 若非 抓食，豈能在林中 咆哮呢？少壯獅子 若 無 所得，豈能從洞中 發 聲呢？ | Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion cry out of his den, if he have taken nothing? |
| 5 | 若沒有 機檻，雀鳥 豈能陷 在 網羅裡呢？網羅 若無 所 得，豈能從 地上 翻起呢？ | Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where no gin is for him? shall one take up a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all? |
| 6 | 城中 若 吹 角，百姓 豈不 驚恐呢？災禍 若 臨 到一城，豈非 耶和華 所降的嗎？ | Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the Lord hath not done it? |
| 7 | 主 耶和華 若 不 將奧祕 指示 他的僕人─眾先知，就 一無 所 行。 | Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. |
| 8 | 獅子 吼叫，誰 不 懼怕呢？主 耶和華 發命，誰 能不 說預言呢？ | The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord God hath spoken, who can but prophesy? |
| 9 | 要在 亞實突 的宮殿中 和 埃及 地 的宮殿 裡傳揚 說：你們要聚集 在 撒馬利亞 的山上，就看見 城中 有何等大的 擾亂 與欺壓的事。 | Publish in the palaces at Ashdod, and in the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great tumults in the midst thereof, and the oppressed in the midst thereof. |
| 10 | 那些以強暴 搶奪財物、積蓄 在自己家中 的人不 知道 行 正直的事。這是耶和華 說的。 | For they know not to do right, saith the Lord, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces. |
| 11 | 所以 主 耶和華 如此 說：敵人 必來圍攻 這地，使你 的勢力 衰微，搶掠 你的家宅。 | Therefore thus saith the Lord God; An adversary there shall be even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled. |
| 12 | 耶和華 如此 說：「牧人 怎樣 從獅子 口 中搶回 兩條 羊腿 或 半個 耳朵，住 撒馬利亞 的以色列 人 躺臥在床 角上 或鋪繡花毯 的榻上，他們得救 也不過如此。」 | Thus saith the Lord; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a couch. |

| 14 | 我討 以色列 罪 的日子，也要討 伯特利 祭壇的罪；壇 角 必被砍下，墜落 於地。 | That in the day that I shall visit the transgressions of Israel upon him I will also visit the altars of Beth–el: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground. |
| 15 | 我要拆毀 過冬和 過夏 的房屋。象牙 的房屋 也必毀滅；高大 的房屋 都歸無有。這是耶和華 說的。 | And I will smite the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith the Lord. |
