| 1 | 「你們中間 若 有先知 或是 做 夢 的起來，向你 顯 個神蹟 奇事， | If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, |
| 2 | 對你 說：『我們去 隨從 你素來所 不 認識 的別 神，事奉它吧。』他所顯的神蹟 奇事 雖有應驗， | And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; |
| 3 | 你也不可 聽 那 先知 或是 那 做 夢 之人的話；因為 這是耶和華─你們的 神 試驗 你們，要知道 你們是 盡 心 盡 性 愛 耶和華─你們的 神不是。 | Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. |
| 4 | 你們要順從 耶和華─你們的 神，敬畏 他，謹守 他的誡命，聽從 他的話，事奉 他，專靠 他。 | Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. |
| 5 | 那 先知 或是 那 做 夢 的既 用言語 叛逆 那領你們出 埃及 地、救贖你 脫離為奴 之家 的耶和華─你們的 神，要勾引你 離開 耶和華─你 神 所 吩咐你 行 的道，你便要將他治死。這樣，就把那惡 從你們中間 除掉。 | And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the Lord your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the Lord thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee. |
| 6 | 「 你的同 胞 弟兄，或是 你的兒 女，或是 你懷 中的妻，或是 如同你性命 的 朋友，若暗中 引誘你，說：『我們不如去 事奉 你 和你列祖 素來所 不 認識 的別 神─ | If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; |
| 7 | 是 你四圍 列國 的神。』無論是離你 近， 離你 遠，從地 這邊 到 地 那邊的神， | Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth; |
| 8 | 你不可 依從 他，也不可 聽從 他，眼 不可 顧惜 他。你不可 憐恤他，也不可 遮庇 他， | Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: |
| 9 | 總要 殺他；你先 下 手，然後 眾 民 也下手，將他治死。 | But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. |
| 10 | 要用石頭 打 死他，因為 他想要 勾引你 離開 那領你 出埃及 地 為奴 之家 的耶和華─你的 神。 | And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. |
| 11 | 以色列 眾人 都要聽見 害怕，就不 敢在你們中間 再 行 這 樣的 惡了。 | And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you. |
| 12 | 「在耶和華─你 神 所 賜 你 居住的 各 城中，你若 聽 人說，有些 匪 類 從你們中間 的一座城出來 勾引 本城 的居民，說：『我們不如去 事奉 你們素來所 不 認識 的別 神』； | If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the Lord thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying, |
| 13 | a | Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known; |
| 14 | 你就要探聽，查究，細細地 訪問，果然 是真，準有 這 可憎惡 的事 行 在你們中間， | Then shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among you; |
| 15 | 你必要 用 刀 殺 那 城 裡的居民，把 城裡 所有的，連 牲畜，都 用 刀 殺盡。 | Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword. |
| 16 | 你從那城裡所奪的財物 都 要堆積 在 街市 上，用火 將 城 和 其內所奪的財物 都 在耶和華─你 神 面前燒盡；那城就永 為 荒堆，不可 再 建造。 | And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the Lord thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again. |
| 17 | 那當毀滅的物 連 一點 都不可 粘 你的手。你要 聽從 耶和華─你 神 的話，遵守 我 今日 所 吩咐你 的一切 誡命，行 耶和華─你 神 眼 中看為正的事，耶和華 就 必轉意，不發烈 怒，恩 待 你，憐恤你，照 他向你列祖 所起的誓 使你人數增多。」 | And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the Lord may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers; |
| 18 | a | When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the Lord thy God. |
