| 2 | 願我的禱告 達到 你面前；求你側 耳 聽我的呼求！ | Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry; |
| 3 | 因為 我心 裡滿了 患難；我的性命 臨近 陰間。 | For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave. |
| 4 | 我算 和下 坑 的人同列， 如同無 力（或譯：沒有幫助）的人一樣。 | I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that hath no strength: |
| 5 | 我被丟 在死人中，好像 被殺的人 躺 在墳墓裡。 他們是你不 再 記念的， 與你 隔絕了。 | Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand. |

| 8 | 你把我所認識的 隔在遠處，使我 為他們 所憎惡；我被拘困，不得 出來。 | Thou hast put away mine acquaintance far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth. |
| 9 | 我的眼睛 因 困苦 而乾癟。耶和華啊，我天天 求告你，向你 舉 手。 | Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: Lord, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee. |
| 10 | 你豈要行 奇事 給死人看嗎？難道 陰魂 還能起來 稱讚你嗎？（細拉） | Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise and praise thee? Selah. |
| 11 | 豈能在墳墓裡 述說 你的慈愛嗎？豈能在滅亡中 述說你的信實嗎？ | Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? or thy faithfulness in destruction? |
| 12 | 你的奇事 豈能在幽暗裡 被知道嗎？你的公義 豈能在忘記 之地被知道嗎？ | Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness? |
| 13 | 耶和華啊，我 呼求 你；我早晨 的禱告 要達到你面前。 | But unto thee have I cried, O Lord; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee. |
| 14 | 耶和華啊，你為何 丟棄 我？為何掩 面 不顧我？ | Lord, why castest thou off my soul? why hidest thou thy face from me? |
| 15 | 我 自幼 受苦，幾乎死亡；我受 你的驚恐，甚至慌張。 | I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up: while I suffer thy terrors I am distracted. |
| 16 | 你的烈怒 漫過 我身；你的驚嚇 把我剪除。 | Thy fierce wrath goeth over me; thy terrors have cut me off. |
| 17 | 這些終 日 如水 環繞我，一齊 都來圍困 我。 | They came round about me daily like water; they compassed me about together. |
| 18 | 你把我的良朋 密友 隔在遠處，使我所認識的人 進入黑暗裡。 | Lover and friend hast thou put far from me, and mine acquaintance into darkness. |
