| 1 | （大衛的詩。）耶和華 是我的亮光，是我的拯救，我還怕 誰呢？耶和華 是我性命 的保障（或譯：力量），我還懼 誰呢？ | The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? |
| 2 | 那作惡的 就是我的 仇 敵，前來 吃 我肉的時候就 絆跌 仆倒。 | When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. |
| 3 | 雖有 軍兵 安營 攻擊我，我的心 也不 害怕；雖然 興起 刀兵 攻擊我， 我 必仍舊安穩。 | Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. |
| 4 | 有一件事，我曾求 耶和華， 我仍要尋求：就是一生一世 住 在耶和華 的殿中，瞻仰 他 的榮美，在他的殿裡 求問。 | One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple. |
| 5 | 因為 我遭遇患難，他必暗暗地保守我；在他亭子裡，把我藏 在他帳幕 的隱密處，將我高舉 在磐石上。 | For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. |

| 8 | 你說：你們當尋求 我的面。那時我心 向你 說：耶和華啊， 你的面 我正要尋求。 | When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek. |
| 9 | 不要 向我 掩 面。不要 發怒 趕逐 僕人，你向來是 幫助我的。救我的 神啊，不要 丟掉我，也不要 離棄我。 | Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. |
| 10 | 我父 母 離棄我，耶和華 必收留我。 | When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up. |
| 11 | 耶和華啊，求你將你的道 指教我，因 我仇敵 的緣故引導我 走平坦 的路。 | Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies. |
| 12 | 求你不要 把我交給 敵人，遂其所願；因為 妄 作見證的 和口吐 凶言的，起來 攻擊我。 | Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty. |
| 13 | 我若不 信 在活人 之地 得見 耶和華 的恩惠，就早已喪膽了。 | I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. |
| 14 | 要等候 耶和華！當壯膽，堅固 你的心！我再說，要等候 耶和華！ | Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. |
