| 2 | 我一生 要讚美 耶和華！我還活的時候 要歌頌我的 神！ | While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. |
| 3 | 你們不要 倚靠 君王，不要倚靠世人；他 一點不能 幫助。 | Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help. |
| 4 | 他的氣 一斷，就歸回 塵土；他所打算的，當 日 就消滅了。 | His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. |
| 5 | 以雅各的 神 為幫助、仰望 耶和華─他 神的，這人便為有福！ | Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God: |
