| 1 | （上行 之詩。）耶和華啊，求你記念 大衛 所受的 一切 苦難！ | Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions: |
| 2 | 他怎樣 向耶和華 起誓，向雅各 的大能者 許願， | How he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob; |
| 3 | 說：我必不 進 我 的帳幕，也不 上 我的床榻； | Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed; |
| 4 | 我不 容 我的眼睛 睡覺，也不容我的眼目 打盹； | I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, |
| 5 | 直等 我為耶和華 尋得 所在，為雅各 的大能者 尋得居所。 | Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob. |
| 6 | 我們聽 說約櫃在以法他，我們在基列‧耶琳 就尋見了。 | Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood. |
| 7 | 我們要進 他的居所，在他腳 凳前 下拜。 | We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool. |
| 8 | 耶和華啊，求你興起，和你 有能力 的約櫃 同入安息之所！ | Arise, O Lord, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength. |
| 9 | 願你的祭司 披上 公義！願你的聖民 歡呼！ | Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy. |
| 10 | 求你因你僕人 大衛 的緣故，不要 厭棄 你的受膏者！ | For thy servant David’s sake turn not away the face of thine anointed. |
| 11 | 耶和華 向大衛、憑誠實 起了誓，必不 反覆，說：我要使你 所生的 坐 在你的 寶座上。 | The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne. |
| 12 | 你的眾子 若 守 我的約 和我所 教訓他們 的法度，他們的子孫 必 永遠 坐 在你的 寶座上。 | If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore. |
| 13 | 因為 耶和華 揀選了 錫安，願意 當作自己的 居所， | For the Lord hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation. |
| 14 | 說：這是 我永遠 安息之所；我要住 在這裡，因為 是我所願意的。 | This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it. |
| 15 | 我要使其中的糧食 豐滿，使其中的窮人 飽足。 | I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread. |
| 16 | 我要使祭司 披上 救恩，聖民 大聲 歡呼！ | I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy. |
| 17 | 我要叫 大衛的 角 在那裡 發生；我為我的受膏者 預備 明燈。 | There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed. |
| 18 | 我要使他的仇敵 披上 羞恥；但他的冠冕 要在 頭上發光。 | His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish. |
