| 1 | 耶和華啊，你為甚麼 站 在遠處？在患難 的時候 為甚麼隱藏？ | Why standest thou afar off, O Lord? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble? |
| 2 | 惡人 在驕橫中 把困苦人 追得火急；願他們陷 在自己所 設 的計謀裡。 | The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined. |
| 3 | 因為 惡人 以 心 願 自誇；貪財的背棄耶和華，並且輕慢他（或譯：他祝福 貪財的，卻輕慢 耶和華）。 | For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the Lord abhorreth. |
| 4 | 惡人 面 帶驕傲，說：耶和華必不 追究；他一切 所想的 都以為沒有 神。 | The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. |
| 5 | 凡他所做的，時常 穩固；你的審判 超過 他的眼界。至於他一切 的敵人，他都向他們 噴氣。 | His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them. |
| 6 | 他心裡 說：我必不 動搖，世世代代 不 遭災難。 | He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity. |
| 7 | 他滿 口 是咒罵、詭詐、欺壓，舌 底 是毒害、奸惡。 | His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity. |
| 8 | 他在村莊 埋伏 等候；他在隱密處 殺害 無辜的人。他的眼睛 窺探 無倚無靠的人； | He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor. |
| 9 | 他埋伏 在暗地，如獅子 蹲在洞中。他埋伏，要擄去 困苦人；他拉 網，就把困苦人 擄去。 | He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net. |
| 10 | 他屈身 蹲伏，無倚無靠的人 就倒在他爪牙（爪牙：或譯強暴人）之下。 | He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones. |
| 11 | 他心裡 說： 神 竟忘記了；他掩 面 永 不 觀看。 | He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it. |
| 12 | 耶和華啊，求你起來！ 神啊，求你舉 手，不要 忘記 困苦人！ | Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble. |
| 13 | 惡人 為何 輕慢 神，心裡 說：你必不 追究？ | Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it. |
| 14 | 其實你已經觀看；因為 奸惡 毒害，你 都看見了，為要以手 施行報應。無倚無靠的人 把自己交託 你；你 向來是 幫助 孤兒的。 | Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless. |
| 15 | 願你打斷 惡人 的膀臂；至於壞人，願你追究 他的惡，直到淨 盡。 | Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none. |
| 16 | 耶和華 永永遠遠 為王；外邦人 從他的地 已經滅絕了。 | The Lord is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land. |
| 17 | 耶和華啊，謙卑人 的心願，你早已知道（原文是聽見）。你必預備 他們的心，也必側耳 聽他們的祈求， | Lord, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear: |
| 18 | 為要給孤兒 和受欺壓的人 伸冤，使強橫的 人 不 再 威嚇他們。 | To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress. |
