| 1 | 萬軍 之耶和華 的話 臨 到我說： | Again the word of the Lord of hosts came to me, saying, |
| 2 | 「萬軍 之耶和華 如此 說：我為錫安 心裡極 其火熱，我為她 火熱，向她的仇敵發烈 怒。 | Thus saith the Lord of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury. |
| 3 | 耶和華 如此 說：我現在回 到 錫安，要住 在耶路撒冷 中。耶路撒冷 必稱為 誠實 的城，萬軍 之耶和華 的山 必稱為聖 山。 | Thus saith the Lord; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the Lord of hosts the holy mountain. |
| 4 | 萬軍 之耶和華 如此 說：將來必有 年老的男 女 坐 在耶路撒冷 街上，因為 年紀 老邁 就手拿 柺杖。 | Thus saith the Lord of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age. |

| 6 | 萬軍 之耶和華 如此 說：到那 日， 這事在餘剩的 民 眼 中看為希奇，在我眼 中也 看為希奇嗎？這是萬軍 之耶和華 說的。 | Thus saith the Lord of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the Lord of hosts. |
| 7 | 萬軍 之耶和華 如此 說： 我要從東 方 從西 方 救回 我的民。 | Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country; |
| 8 | 我要領 他們來，使他們住 在耶路撒冷 中。他們要作 我的 子民，我 要作 他們的 神，都憑誠實 和公義。」 | And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness. |
| 9 | 萬軍 之耶和華 如此 說：「當建造 萬軍 之耶和華 的殿， 立根基之 日 的先知所說的 話， 現在 你們聽見，應當手 裡強壯。 | Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the Lord of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built. |
| 10 | 那 日 以先，人 得不著 雇價，牲畜也是如此；且因 敵人的緣故，出 入 之人不 得平安，乃因我使 眾 人 互相攻擊。 | For before these days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in because of the affliction: for I set all men every one against his neighbour. |
| 11 | 但如今，我 待這 餘剩的 民 必不 像從前。這是萬軍 之耶和華 說的。 | But now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the Lord of hosts. |
| 12 | 因為 他們必平安 撒種，葡萄樹 必結 果子，地土 必有 出產，天 也必降 甘露。我要使 這 餘剩的 民 享受 這 一切的福。 | For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things. |
| 13 | 猶大 家 和以色列 家啊， 你們從前在列國 中怎樣 成為 可咒詛的；照樣，我要拯救 你們，使人稱你們為有福的（或譯：使你們叫人得福）。你們不要 懼怕，手 要強壯。 | And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong. |
| 14 | 萬軍 之耶和華 如此 說：「你們列祖 惹我 發怒的時候，我怎樣 定意 降禍， 並不 後悔。 | For thus saith the Lord of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the Lord of hosts, and I repented not: |
| 15 | 現在 我照樣 定意 施恩 與 耶路撒冷 和 猶大 家，你們不要 懼怕。 | So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not. |
| 16 | 你們所 當行 的 是這樣：各人 與 鄰舍 說話 誠實，在城門口 按至 理 判斷，使人和睦。 | These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates: |
| 17 | 誰 都不可 心 裡謀 害 鄰舍，也不可 喜愛 起假 誓，因為 這些事 都 為 我所 恨惡。這是耶和華 說的。」 | And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the Lord. |
| 18 | 萬軍 之耶和華 的話 臨 到我 說： | And the word of the Lord of hosts came unto me, saying, |
| 19 | 「萬軍 之耶和華 如此 說：四 月、五 月禁食的日子，七 月、十 月禁食的日子，必變為 猶大 家 歡喜 快樂 的日子和歡樂 的節期；所以你們要喜愛 誠實 與和平。」 | Thus saith the Lord of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace. |
| 20 | 萬軍 之耶和華 如此 說：「將來 必有 列國的人 和多 城 的居民 來到。 | Thus saith the Lord of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities: |
| 21 | 這 城的居民 必到 那城，說：『我們要快 去 懇求 耶和華的恩，尋求 萬軍 之耶和華；我 也 要去。』 | And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the Lord, and to seek the Lord of hosts: I will go also. |
| 22 | 必有列邦的人 和強 國 的民來到 耶路撒冷 尋求 萬軍 之耶和華，懇求 耶和華的恩。 | Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the Lord. |
| 23 | 萬軍 之耶和華 如此 說：在那些 日子，必有十 個人 從列 國諸族（原文是方言）中出來， 拉住 一個猶大人 的衣襟，說：『我們要與你們 同去，因為 我們聽見 神 與你們同在了。』」 | Thus saith the Lord of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you. |
