| 1 | 耶和華 曉諭 摩西 說： | And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| 2 | 「你告訴 亞倫 說：點 燈的時候，七 盞燈 都要向 燈臺 前 面 發光。」 | Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick. |
| 3 | 亞倫 便這樣 行。他點 燈臺 上的燈，使燈向 前發光，是照耶和華 所 吩咐 摩西的。 | And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as the Lord commanded Moses. |
| 4 | 這 燈臺 的做法 是用金子 錘出來的，連 座 帶 花 都是 錘出來的。摩西 製造 燈臺，是照 耶和華 所 指示 的樣式。 | And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the pattern which the Lord had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick. |

| 6 | 「你從以色列 人 中 選出 利未人來，潔淨 他們。 | Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them. |
| 7 | 潔淨 他們 當這樣 行：用除罪 水 彈 在他們身上，又叫他們用 剃頭刀 刮 全 身，洗 衣服，潔淨自己。 | And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean. |
| 8 | 然後叫他們取 一隻公牛 犢，並同獻的素祭，就是調 油 的細麵；你要另取 一 隻公牛 犢 作贖罪祭。 | Then let them take a young bullock with his meat offering, even fine flour mingled with oil, and another young bullock shalt thou take for a sin offering. |
| 9 | 將 利未人 奉 到會 幕 前，招聚 以色列 全 會眾。 | And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together: |
| 10 | 將 利未人 奉 到耶和華 面前，以色列 人 要按 手 在 他們頭上。 | And thou shalt bring the Levites before the Lord: and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites: |
| 11 | 亞倫 也將 他們 奉 到耶和華 面前，為 以色列 人 當作搖祭，使他們 好辦 耶和華 的事。 | And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the Lord for an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the Lord. |
| 12 | 利未人 要按 手 在 那兩隻牛 的頭上；你要將 一 隻作贖罪祭， 一 隻作燔祭，獻 給耶和華，為 利未人 贖罪。 | And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou shalt offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, unto the Lord, to make an atonement for the Levites. |
| 13 | 你也要使 利未人 站 在亞倫 和他兒子 面前，將他們 當作搖祭 奉 給耶和華。 | And thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them for an offering unto the Lord. |
| 14 | 「這樣，你從以色列 人 中 將 利未人 分別出來，利未人 便要 歸我。 | Thus shalt thou separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine. |
| 15 | 此 後 利未人 要進去 辦 會 幕的事，你要潔淨 他們，將他們 當作搖祭 奉上； | And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them for an offering. |
| 16 | 因為 他們 是從以色列 人 中 全然 給 我的，我揀選 他們 歸我，是代替 以色列 人中 一切 頭生的。 | For they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me. |
| 17 | 以色列 人中 一切 頭生的，連人 帶牲畜，都是我的。我在埃及 地 擊殺 一切 頭生的 那天，將他們 分別為聖 歸我。 | For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself. |
| 18 | 我揀選 利未人 代替 以色列 人中 一切 頭生的。 | And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel. |
| 19 | 我從以色列 人 中 將 利未人 當作賞賜 給 亞倫 和他的兒子，在會 幕 中辦 以色列 人 的事，又為 以色列 人 贖罪，免得 他們 挨近 聖所，有災殃 臨 到他們 中間。」 | And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary. |
| 20 | 摩西、亞倫，並以色列 全 會眾 便向利未人 如此行。凡 耶和華 指著利未人 所 吩咐 摩西的，以色列 人 就向他們 這樣 行。 | And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according unto all that the Lord commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them. |
| 21 | 於是利未人 潔淨自己，除了罪，洗了 衣服；亞倫 將他們 當作搖祭 奉 到耶和華 面前， 又為他們 贖罪，潔淨他們。 | And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the Lord; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them. |
| 22 | 然 後 利未人 進去，在 亞倫 和他兒子 面前，在會 幕 中辦 事。耶和華 指著 利未人 怎樣 吩咐 摩西，以色列人就怎樣 向他們 行了。 | And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as the Lord had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them. |
| 23 | 耶和華 曉諭 摩西 說： | And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| 24 | 「利未人 是這樣：從 二十 五 歲 以外，他們要前來 任 職，辦會 幕 的事。 | This is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: |
| 25 | 到了 五十 歲 要停工 退任，不 再 辦 事， | And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more: |
| 26 | 只要在會 幕裡，和 他們的弟兄 一同伺候，謹守 所吩咐的，不再 辦 事了。至於所吩咐 利未人的，你要這樣 向他們行。」 | But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge. |
