| 1 | 耶和華 在西奈 山 曉諭 摩西 的日子，亞倫 和摩西 的後代 如下： | These also are the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that the Lord spake with Moses in mount Sinai. |
| 2 | 亞倫 的兒子，長子 名 叫拿答，還有亞比戶、以利亞撒、以他瑪。 | And these are the names of the sons of Aaron; Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. |
| 3 | 這是 亞倫 兒子 的名字，都是受膏 的祭司， 是摩西叫他們 承接聖職 供祭司職分的。 | These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests which were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest’s office. |

| 6 | 「你使 利未 支派 近前來， 站 在祭司 亞倫 面前 好服事 他， | Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him. |
| 7 | 替 他和 會眾 在會 幕 前 守 所吩咐的，辦理 帳幕 的事。 | And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle. |
| 8 | 又要看守 會 幕的 器具，並 守所吩咐 以色列 人的，辦理 帳幕 的事。 | And they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle. |
| 9 | 你要將 利未人 給 亞倫 和他的兒子，因為他們是 從 以色列 人 中選出來給 他的。 | And thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel. |
| 10 | 你要囑咐 亞倫 和 他的兒子 謹守 自己祭司的職任。近前來 的外人 必被治死。」 | And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest’s office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death. |
| 11 | 耶和華 曉諭 摩西 說： | And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| 12 | 「 我 從以色列 人 中 揀選了 利未人，代替 以色列 人 一切 頭生的；利未人 要 歸我。 | And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine; |
| 13 | 因為 凡 頭生的 是我的；我在埃及 地 擊殺 一切 頭生的 那日 就把以色列中 一切 頭生的，連人 帶 牲畜 都分別為聖 歸我；他們定要 屬我。我是 耶和華。」 | Because all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I am the Lord. |
| 14 | 耶和華 在西奈 的曠野 曉諭 摩西 說： | And the Lord spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying, |
| 15 | 「你要照利未 人 的宗 族、家室 數點 他們。凡 一個月 以外 的男子 都要數點。」 | Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them. |
| 16 | 於是摩西 照 耶和華 所 吩咐 的數點 他們。 | And Moses numbered them according to the word of the Lord, as he was commanded. |
| 17 | 利未 眾子 的名字 是 革順、哥轄、米拉利。 | And these were the sons of Levi by their names; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari. |
| 18 | 革順 的兒子，按著家室，是立尼、示每。 | And these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families; Libni, and Shimei. |
| 19 | 哥轄 的兒子，按著家室，是暗蘭、以斯哈、希伯倫、烏薛。 | And the sons of Kohath by their families; Amram, and Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel. |
| 20 | 米拉利 的兒子，按著家室，是抹利、母示。這些 按著宗 族 是 利未人 的家室。 | And the sons of Merari by their families; Mahli, and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to the house of their fathers. |
| 21 | 屬革順的，有立尼 族、示每 族。這 是 革順 的二族。 | Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimites: these are the families of the Gershonites. |
| 22 | 其中被數、從 一個月 以外 所有的 男子 共有七 千 五 百名。 | Those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, even those that were numbered of them were seven thousand and five hundred. |
| 23 | 這革順 的二族 要在帳幕 後 西邊 安營。 | The families of the Gershonites shall pitch behind the tabernacle westward. |
| 24 | 拉伊勒 的兒子 以利雅薩 作革順人 宗 族 的首領。 | And the chief of the house of the father of the Gershonites shall be Eliasaph the son of Lael. |
| 25 | 革順 的子孫 在會 幕 中所要看守的，就是帳幕 和罩棚，並罩棚的蓋 與會 幕 的門 簾， | And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, |
| 26 | 院子 的帷子 和 門 簾（院子 是圍 帳幕 和 壇的），並 一切 使用 的繩子。 | And the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and by the altar round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof. |
| 27 | 屬哥轄的，有暗蘭 族、以斯哈 族、希伯倫 族、烏薛 族。這 是 哥轄 的諸族。 | And of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izeharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites. |
| 28 | 按所有 男子 的數目，從 一個月 以外 看守 聖所的，共有八 千 六 百名。 | In the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary. |
| 29 | 哥轄 兒子 的諸族 要在 帳幕 的南 邊 安營。 | The families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle southward. |
| 30 | 烏薛 的兒子 以利撒反 作哥轄 宗 族 家室 的首領。 | And the chief of the house of the father of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel. |
| 31 | 他們所要看守 的是約櫃、桌子、燈臺、兩座壇 與聖所 內使用 的 器皿，並簾子 和一切 使用之物。 | And their charge shall be the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary wherewith they minister, and the hanging, and all the service thereof. |
| 32 | 祭司 亞倫 的兒子 以利亞撒 作利未人 眾首領 的領袖，要監察 那些看守 聖所的人。 | And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be chief over the chief of the Levites, and have the oversight of them that keep the charge of the sanctuary. |
| 33 | 屬米拉利的，有抹利 族、母示 族。這 是 米拉利 的二族。 | Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites: these are the families of Merari. |

| 36 | 米拉利 子孫 的職分 是看守 帳幕 的板、閂、柱子、帶卯的座，和帳幕一切 所使用的 器具， | And under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari shall be the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof, and all that serveth thereto, |
| 37 | 院子 四圍 的柱子、帶卯的座、橛子，和繩子。 | And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords. |
| 38 | 在帳幕 前 東邊， 向日出之地 安營 的是摩西、亞倫，和亞倫的兒子。他們看守 聖所，替以色列 人 守耶和華所吩咐的。近前來 的外人 必被治死。 | But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death. |
| 39 | 凡 被數 的利未人，就是 摩西、亞倫 照 耶和華 吩咐 所數的，按著家室，從 一個月 以外的 男子，共有二萬二千名。 | All that were numbered of the Levites, which Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of the Lord, throughout their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty and two thousand. |
| 40 | 耶和華 對 摩西 說：「你要從以色列 人 中數點 一個月 以外、凡 頭生 的男子，把 他們的名字 記下。 | And the Lord said unto Moses, Number all the firstborn of the males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names. |
| 41 | 我是 耶和華。你要揀選 利未人 歸我，代替 以色列 人 所有 頭生的，也取 利未人 的牲畜 代替 以色列 所有 頭生 的牲畜。」 | And thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am the Lord) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites instead of all the firstlings among the cattle of the children of Israel. |
| 42 | 摩西 就照 耶和華 所吩咐的 把 以色列 人 頭生 的都 數點了。 | And Moses numbered, as the Lord commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel. |
| 43 | 按人名 的數目，從 一個月 以外、凡 頭生 的男子， 共有二萬二千 二百 七十 三名。 | And all the firstborn males by the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those that were numbered of them, were twenty and two thousand two hundred and threescore and thirteen. |
| 44 | 耶和華 曉諭 摩西 說： | And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, |
| 45 | 「你揀選 利未人 代替 以色列 人 所有 頭生的，也取 利未人 的牲畜 代替 以色列人的牲畜。利未人 要 歸我；我是 耶和華。 | Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am the Lord. |
| 46 | 以色列 人 中頭生 的男子比 利未人 多 二百 七十 三個，必當將 他們贖出來。 | And for those that are to be redeemed of the two hundred and threescore and thirteen of the firstborn of the children of Israel, which are more than the Levites; |
| 47 | 你要 按人丁，照聖所 的平，每人 取 贖銀五 舍客勒（一舍客勒 是二十 季拉）， | Thou shalt even take five shekels apiece by the poll, after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them: (the shekel is twenty gerahs:) |
| 48 | 把那多餘之人 的贖 銀 交 給亞倫 和他的兒子。」 | And thou shalt give the money, wherewith the odd number of them is to be redeemed, unto Aaron and to his sons. |
| 49 | 於是摩西 從 那被利未人 所 贖 以外 的人取了 贖 銀。 | And Moses took the redemption money of them that were over and above them that were redeemed by the Levites: |
| 50 | 從 以色列 人 頭生 的所取 之 銀，按聖所 的平，有一千 三 百 六十 五舍客勒。 | Of the firstborn of the children of Israel took he the money; a thousand three hundred and threescore and five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary: |
| 51 | 摩西 照耶和華 的話 把 這贖 銀 給 亞倫 和他的兒子，正如 耶和華 所 吩咐的。 | And Moses gave the money of them that were redeemed unto Aaron and to his sons, according to the word of the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses. |
