| 1 | 摩西 曉諭 以色列 各支派 的首領 說：「耶和華 所 吩咐 的 乃是這樣： | And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded. |
| 2 | 人 若 向耶和華 許 願 或 起 誓，要約 束 自己，就不可 食 言，必要按口中 所出的 一切 話行。 | If a man vow a vow unto the Lord, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth. |
| 3 | 女子 年幼、還在父 家的時候，若 向耶和華 許 願，要約 束自己， | If a woman also vow a vow unto the Lord, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father’s house in her youth; |
| 4 | 她父親 也聽見 她所 許的願 並約束 自己 的話， 卻向她 默默不言，她所 許的願並 約束 自己 的話 就都 要為定。 | And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand. |
| 5 | 但她父親 聽見 的日子 若 不應承 她 所許的願和 約束 自己 的話，就都 不得 為定；耶和華 也必赦免 她，因為 她父親 不應承。 | But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the Lord shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her. |
| 6 | 她若 出了 嫁，有願 在身，或是 口中出了 約束 自己 的冒失話， | And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul; |
| 7 | 她丈夫 聽見 的日子，卻向她 默默不言，她所許 的願並 約束 自己 的話 就都要為定。 | And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand. |
| 8 | 但她丈夫 聽見 的日子，若 不應承，就算廢了 她所 許 的願 和 她出口 約束 自己 的冒失話；耶和華 也必赦免 她。 | But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the Lord shall forgive her. |
| 9 | 寡婦 或是被休 的婦人所許的願，就是 她約束 自己的話，都要為定。 | But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her. |
| 10 | 她若 在丈夫 家裡 許了願 或 起了誓，約 束 自己， | And if she vowed in her husband’s house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath; |
| 11 | 丈夫 聽見，卻向她 默默不言，也沒有 不應承，她所許的 願並 約束 自己 的話 就都 要為定。 | And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand. |
| 12 | 丈夫 聽見 的日子，若 把 這兩樣全 廢了，婦人口中 所許 的願 或是約束自己 的話 就都 不得 為定，因她丈夫 已經把這兩樣廢了；耶和華 也必赦免 她。 | But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the Lord shall forgive her. |
| 13 | 凡 她所許的願 和 刻苦 約束 自己 所起的誓，她丈夫 可以堅定， 也可以廢去。 | Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void. |
| 14 | 倘若 她丈夫 天 天 向她 默默 不言，就算是堅定 她所許的願 和 約束 自己的話；因 丈夫聽見 的日子 向她 默默不言，就使 這兩樣堅定。 | But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them. |
| 15 | 但她丈夫聽見 以後，若 使 這兩樣全 廢了，就要擔當 婦人的罪孽。」 | But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity. |
| 16 | 這是 丈夫 待 妻子，父親 待 女兒，女兒年幼、還在父 家，耶和華 所 吩咐 摩西 的律例。 | These are the statutes, which the Lord commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father’s house. |
