| 2 | 「耶和華 命定 律法 中的一條律例 乃是 這樣 說：你要吩咐 以色列 人，把一隻 沒有 殘疾、 未曾 負 軛、純 紅 的母牛 牽 到你這裡來， | This is the ordinance of the law which the Lord hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke: |
| 3 | 交 給 祭司 以利亞撒；他必牽 到 營 外，人就把牛 宰 在他面前。 | And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face: |
| 4 | 祭司 以利亞撒 要用指頭 蘸 這牛的血，向 會 幕 前面 彈 七 次。 | And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the congregation seven times: |
| 5 | 人要在他眼前 把 這母牛 焚燒； 牛的皮、 肉、 血、 糞 都要焚燒。 | And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn: |
| 6 | 祭司 要 把 香柏 木、牛膝草、朱紅色 線 都丟 在 燒 牛 的火中。 | And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer. |
| 7 | 祭司 必不潔淨 到 晚上， 要洗 衣服，用水 洗 身，然後 可以進 營。 | Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even. |
| 8 | 燒 牛 的人必不潔淨 到 晚上，也要 洗 衣服，用水 洗 身。 | And he that burneth her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the even. |
| 9 | 必有一個潔淨 的人 收起 母牛 的灰，存 在營 外 潔淨 的地方， 為以色列 會眾 調做 除污穢 的水。這本是 除罪的。 | And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin. |

| 12 | 那人 到第三 天 要用這除污穢的水潔淨 自己，第七 天 就潔淨了。他若 在第三 天 不 潔淨自己，第七 天 就不 潔淨了。 | He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean. |
| 13 | 凡 摸了 人 死 屍、不 潔淨自己的，就玷污了 耶和華 的帳幕，這 人 必從以色列 中剪除；因為 那除污穢 的水 沒有 灑 在他身上，他就為 不潔淨，污穢 還 在他身上。 | Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the Lord; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him. |
| 14 | 「 人 死 在帳棚 裡的條例 乃是這樣：凡 進 那帳棚的，和一切 在帳棚裡的，都必七 天 不潔淨。 | This is the law, when a man dieth in a tent: all that come into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days. |
| 15 | 凡 敞口 的器皿，就是 沒有 紮 上 蓋的，也是 不潔淨。 | And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it, is unclean. |
| 16 | 無論 何人 在 田野 裡 摸了 被刀 殺的，或是 屍首，或是 人 的骨頭，或是 墳墓，就要七 天 不潔淨。 | And whosoever toucheth one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days. |
| 17 | 要為這不潔淨的人 拿 些燒成的 除罪 灰 放 在 器皿裡，倒上 活 水。 | And for an unclean person they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel: |
| 18 | 必當有一個潔淨 的人 拿 牛膝草 蘸 在這水中，把水灑 在 帳棚上，和 一切 器皿 並 帳棚內 的眾人身上，又灑在 摸了 骨頭，或 摸了被殺的，或 摸了自死的，或 摸了墳墓的那人身上。 | And a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave: |
| 19 | 第三 天 和第七 天，潔淨的人 要灑 水在 不潔淨的人身上，第七 天 就使他成為潔淨。那人要洗 衣服，用水 洗澡，到晚上 就潔淨了。 | And the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even. |
| 20 | 「 但那 污穢 而不 潔淨自己的，要將他 從會 中 剪除，因為 他玷污了 耶和華 的聖所。除污穢 的水 沒有 灑 在他身上，他是 不潔淨的。 | But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the Lord: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean. |
| 21 | 這要給你們 作為 永遠 的定例。並且那灑 除污穢 水 的人要洗 衣服。凡摸 除污穢 水的，必不潔淨 到 晚上。 | And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkleth the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation shall be unclean until even. |
| 22 | 不潔淨人 所 摸 的一切物 就不潔淨；摸了 這物的人 必不潔淨 到 晚上。」 | And whatsoever the unclean person toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall be unclean until even. |
