| 1 | 成群的民（原文是女子）哪，現在 你要聚集成隊；因為仇敵圍攻 我們，要用杖 擊打 以色列 審判者 的臉。 | Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek. |
| 2 | 伯利恆 的以法他啊，你 在猶大 諸城中 為 小，將來必有一位從你那裡 出來，在以色列中 為我 作 掌權的；他的根源 從亙古，從太初就有。 | But thou, Beth–lehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. |

| 8 | 雅各 餘剩的人 必 在多國 多 民 中，如林 間百獸中 的獅子，又如少壯獅子 在羊 群中。他 若 經過 就必踐踏 撕裂，無人 搭救。 | And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver. |
| 9 | 願你的手 舉起，高過 敵人！願你的仇敵 都 被剪除！ | Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off. |
| 10 | 耶和華 說： 到那 日，我必從你中間 剪除 馬匹，毀壞 車輛， | And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy thy chariots: |
| 11 | 也必從你國 中除滅 城邑，拆毀 一切的 保障， | And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strong holds: |
| 12 | 又必除掉 你手中 的邪術；你那裡 也不再 有 占卜的。 | And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers: |
| 13 | 我必從你中間 除滅 雕刻的偶像 和柱像，你就不 再 跪拜 自己手 所造的。 | Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands. |
| 14 | 我必從你中間 拔出 木偶，又毀滅 你的城邑。 | And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities. |
| 15 | 我也必在怒氣 和忿怒中 向 那 不 聽從 的列國 施 報。 | And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard. |
