| 1 | 萬軍 之耶和華 說：「我 要差遣 我的使者 在我前面 預備 道路。你們 所 尋求 的主 必忽然 進 入 他的殿；立約 的使者，就是 你們 所仰慕的， 快要來到。」 | Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts. |
| 2 | 他來 的 日子，誰 能當得起呢？他顯現的時候，誰 能立得住呢？因為 他 如煉金之人 的火，如漂布之人 的鹼。 | But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap: |

| 5 | 萬軍 之耶和華 說：「我必臨近 你們，施行審判。我必 速速 作見證，警戒行邪術的、犯姦淫的、起假 誓的、虧負 人 之工價的、欺壓寡婦 孤兒的、屈枉 寄居的，和不 敬畏我的。」 | And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts. |

| 7 | 萬軍 之耶和華 說：從你們列祖 的日子以來，你們常常偏離 我的典章 而不 遵守。現在你們要轉 向我，我就轉 向你們。你們卻問說：『我們如何 才是轉向呢？』 | Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return? |
| 8 | 人 豈可奪取 神之物呢？你們 竟 奪取 我的供物。你們卻說：『我們在何事上 奪取你的供物呢？』就是你們在當納的十分之一 和當獻的供物上。 | Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. |
| 9 | 因你們 通 國 的人都奪取 我的供物，咒詛 就臨到 你們身上。 | Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. |
| 10 | 萬軍 之耶和華 說：你們要將 當納的十分之一 全然 送 入 倉 庫，使我家 有 糧，以此 試試我，是 否 為你們 敞開 天上 的窗戶，傾 福 與你們，甚至 無處 可容。 | Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. |
| 11 | 萬軍 之耶和華 說：我必為你們 斥責蝗蟲（原文是吞噬者），不容 牠毀壞 你們的 土 產。你們田 間的葡萄樹 在未熟之先也不 掉果子。 | And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts. |
| 12 | 萬軍 之耶和華 說：萬 國 必稱 你們 為有福的，因 你們 的地必成為 喜樂 之地。」 | And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts. |
| 13 | 耶和華 說：「你們用話 頂撞 我，你們還說：『我們用甚麼 話 頂撞了你呢？』 | Your words have been stout against me, saith the Lord. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee? |
| 14 | 你們說：『事奉 神 是徒然的， 遵守 神所吩咐的， 在萬軍 之耶和華 面前 苦苦 齋戒，有甚麼 益處呢？ | Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the Lord of hosts? |
| 15 | 如今 我們 稱 狂傲的人 為有福，並且 行 惡 的人得建立；他們雖然 試探 神，卻得脫離災難。』」 | And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered. |
| 16 | 那時，敬畏 耶和華 的彼此 談論，耶和華 側耳 而聽，且有紀念 冊 在他面前，記錄 那敬畏 耶和華、思念 他名的人。 | Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name. |

| 18 | 那時你們必歸回，將善人 和 惡人，事奉 神 的和 不 事奉 神的，分別出來。」 | Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. |
