| 2 | 耶和華 說：「我曾愛 你們。」你們卻說：「你在何事上 愛我們呢？」耶和華 說：「以掃 不是 雅各的 哥哥嗎？我卻愛 雅各， | I have loved you, saith the Lord. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? saith the Lord: yet I loved Jacob, |
| 3 | 惡 以掃，使 他的山嶺 荒涼，把 他的地業 交給曠野 的野狗。」 | And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness. |
| 4 | 以東人 說：「我們現在雖 被毀壞，卻要重 建 荒廢之處。」萬軍 之耶和華 如此 說：「任他們 建造，我 必拆毀；人必稱 他們的地為『罪惡 之境』；稱他們的民 為『耶和華 永遠 惱怒之民』。」 | Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the Lord of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the Lord hath indignation for ever. |

| 6 | 「藐視 我名 的祭司啊，萬軍 之耶和華 對你們 說：兒子 尊敬 父親，僕人 敬畏主人；我 既為 父親，尊敬我 的在哪裡呢？我 既為 主人，敬畏我 的在哪裡呢？你們卻說：『我們在何事上 藐視 你的名呢？』 | A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the Lord of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name? |
| 7 | 你們將污穢 的食物 獻 在 我的壇上，且說：『我們在何事上 污穢你呢？』因你們說，耶和華 的桌子 是 可藐視的。 | Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the Lord is contemptible. |
| 8 | 你們將瞎眼的 獻 為祭物，這不為 惡嗎？ 將瘸腿的、有病的 獻上，這不為 惡嗎？ 你獻 給你的省長，他豈喜悅你， 豈能看 你的情面嗎？這是萬軍 之耶和華 說的。 | And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the Lord of hosts. |
| 9 | 「現在 我勸 你們懇求 神，他好施恩與我們。這妄獻的事， 既由你們經手，他豈能看 你們的 情面嗎？這是萬軍 之耶和華 說的。 | And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the Lord of hosts. |
| 10 | 甚願 你們中間 有一人 關上 殿門，免得 你們徒然 在我壇 上燒火。萬軍 之耶和華 說：我 不 喜悅 你們，也不 從你們手中 收納 供物。 | Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the Lord of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand. |
| 11 | 萬軍 之耶和華 說： 從日 出 之地到 日落之處，我的名 在外邦中 必尊為大。在各 處，人必奉我的名 燒 香，獻潔淨 的供物，因為 我的名 在外邦中 必尊為大。 | For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the Lord of hosts. |
| 12 | 你們 卻褻瀆我的名，說：『耶和華 的桌子 是 污穢的，其上的食物 是可藐視的。』 | But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the Lord is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible. |
| 13 | 你們又說：『這些事 何等煩瑣！』並嗤之以鼻。這是萬軍 之耶和華 說的。你們把搶奪的、 瘸腿的、 有病的 拿來獻上為 祭。我豈能從你們手中 收納呢？這是耶和華 說的。 | Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the Lord of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the Lord. |
| 14 | 行詭詐的 在群中 有 公羊，他許願 卻用有殘疾 的獻 給主，這人是可咒詛的。因為 我是 大 君王，我的名 在外邦中 是可畏的。這是萬軍 之耶和華 說的。 | But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith the Lord of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen. |
