| 1 | 弟兄們，我 心裡 所願的， 向 神 所求的，是要 以色列人 得救。 | Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. |
| 2 | 我可以證明，他們向 神 有 熱心，但 不是 按著 真知識； | For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. |
| 3 | 因為 不知道 神的 義， 想要 立 自己的 義，就不 服 神的 義了。 | For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. |
| 4 | 律法的 總結 就是基督，使 凡 信 他的都得著義。 | For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. |
| 5 | 摩西 寫著說：「 人 若行 那 出於 律法 的義，就必因 此 活著。」 | For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. |
| 6 | 惟有 出於 信心 的義 如此 說：「你不要 心 裡 說：誰 要升 到 天上去呢？（ 就是要 領下 基督來；） | But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) |
| 7 | 誰 要下 到 陰間去呢？（ 就是要 領 基督 從 死裡上來。）」 | Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) |
| 8 | 他到底 怎麼 說呢？他說：這道 離你 不遠，正在 你 口裡， 在 你 心裡─（ 就是 我們所傳 信 主的道。） | But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; |
| 9 | 你 若 口裡 認 耶穌 為主， 心 裡 信 神 叫他 從 死裡 復活，就必得救。 | That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. |
| 10 | 因為，人心裡 相信 就可以 稱義， 口裡 承認 就可以 得救。 | For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. |
| 11 | 經上 說：「凡 信 他 的人必不至於 羞愧。」 | For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. |
| 12 | 猶太人 和 希臘人 並沒 有 分別，因為 眾人 同有一位 主；他也厚待 一切 求告 他的人。 | For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. |
| 13 | 因為「凡 求告 主 名 的就必得救」。 | For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. |
| 14 | 然而， 人 未曾 信他，怎能 求他呢？ 未曾 聽見他，怎能 信他呢？ 沒有 傳道的，怎能 聽見呢？ | How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? |
| 15 | 若 沒有 奉差遣，怎能 傳道呢？如 經上所記：「報福音、傳喜信的人，他們的 腳蹤何等 佳美！」 | And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! |
| 16 | 只是 人沒有 都 聽從 福音，因為 以賽亞 說：「主啊，我們 所傳的 有誰 信呢？」 | But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? |
| 17 | 可見，信道 是從 聽道來的， 聽道 是從 基督 的話來的。 | So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. |
| 18 | 但 我說，人沒有 聽見嗎？誠然聽見了。他們的 聲音 傳遍 天下； 他們的 言語 傳到 地 極。 | But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. |
| 19 | 我再說，以色列人 不 知道嗎？先有 摩西 說：我 要用 那不成 子民 的惹動你們的 憤恨；我要用 那無知的 民 觸動你們的 怒氣。 | But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you. |
| 20 | 又有 以賽亞 放膽 說： 沒有 尋找 我的，我叫他們遇見；沒有 訪問 我的，我向 他們顯現。 | But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me. |
| 21 | 至於 以色列人，他說：「我 整 天 伸 手 招呼 那悖逆 頂嘴的 百姓。」 | But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people. |
