| 2 | 務要傳 道，無論得時 不得時，總要專心，並用 百般的 忍耐、 各樣的教訓 責備人，警戒人，勸勉人。 | Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. |
| 3 | 因為 時候 要到， 人必厭煩 純正的 道理，耳朵 發癢，就 隨從 自己的 情慾 增添 好些師傅， | For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; |
| 4 | 並且 掩 耳 不聽 真道， 偏 向 荒渺的言語。 | And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. |
| 5 | 你 卻要 凡事 謹慎，忍受苦難，做 傳道的 工夫，盡 你的 職分。 | But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. |
| 6 | 我 現在 被澆奠， 我 離世 的時候 到了。 | For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. |

| 8 | 從此以後，有公義的 冠冕 為我 存留， 就是按著公義 審判 的主 到了 那 日 要賜給 我的； 不 但 賜給我， 也 賜給凡 愛慕 他 顯現的人。 | Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. |

| 16 | 我 初次 申訴，沒有人 前來幫助，竟 都 離棄 我；但願這罪不 歸與 他們。 | At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. |
| 17 | 惟有 主 站在我 旁邊， 加給我 力量，使 福音 被 我 盡都傳明，叫 外邦人 都聽見；我也 從 獅子 口 裡被救出來。 | Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. |
| 18 | 主 必救 我 脫離 諸般的 凶惡，也 必救 我進 他的 天 國。願榮耀 歸給他，直到 永永遠遠。阿們。 | And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. |
