1 除酵 節（又名 逾越節）近了。 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.
2 祭司長 和 文士 想法子 怎麼 才能殺害 耶穌，是因 他們懼怕 百姓。 And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.
3 這時，撒但 入了 那稱為 加略人 猶大的心；他本是 十二 門徒裡的一個。 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
4 他去 和祭司長 並 守殿官 商量，怎麼 可以把耶穌 交 給他們。 And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.
5 他們歡喜，就 約定 給 他 銀子。 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
6 他應允了，就 找 機會，要趁眾人 不在跟前 的時候把耶穌 交給 他們。 And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.
7 除酵節， 須 宰 逾越羊羔 的那一天 到了。 Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.
8 耶穌打發 彼得、 約翰，說：「你們去 為我們 預備 逾越節的筵席，好叫 我們吃。」 And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.
9 他們問他 說：「要 我們在哪裡 預備？」 And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?
10 耶穌 說：「 你們 進了 城，必有人 拿著 一瓶 水 迎面而來，你們 就跟著 他，到 他所進 的房子裡去， And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.
11 對那家 的主人 說：『夫子 說：客房 在 哪裡？我 與 門徒 好在那裡 吃 逾越節的筵席。』 And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?
12 他必指 給你們 擺設整齊 的一間大 樓，你們就在那裡 預備。」 And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.
13 他們去了，所遇見 的正如 耶穌所說的；他們 就 預備 了逾越節的筵席。 And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
14 時候 到了，耶穌坐席，使徒 也 和 他同坐。 And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.
15 耶穌對 他們 說：「我 很願意 在受害 以先 和 你們 吃 這 逾越節的筵席。 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
16 我告訴 你們， 我不再 吃 這筵席，直到 成就 在 神 的國裡。」 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
17 耶穌接過 杯來，祝謝了，說：「你們拿 這個， 大家 分著喝。 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
18 我告訴 你們， 從 今以後，我不再 喝 這葡萄汁，直等 神 的國 來到。」 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
19 又 拿起 餅來，祝謝了，就擘開， 遞 給他們，說：「這 是 我的 身體， 為 你們 捨的，你們也應當如此 行，為的是 記念 我。」 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
20 飯 後 也 照樣 拿起杯來，說：「這 杯 是用 我 血 所立的新 約， 是為 你們 流出來的。 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
21 看哪，那賣 我 之人的手 與 我 一同在 桌子上。 But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.
22 人 子 固然 要照 所預定 的去世，但 賣人子 的 人 有禍了！」 And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!
23 他們 就 彼此 對問，是 哪一個 要 做 這事。 And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.
24 門徒 起了 爭論，他們 中間哪一個 可算為 大。 And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.
25 耶穌 說：「外邦人 有君王 為主治理 他們， 那掌權管 他們 的稱為 恩主。 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.
26 但 你們 不可 這樣；你們 裡頭 為大的，倒 要 像 年幼的， 為首領的，倒要像 服事人的。 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
27 是誰 為大？是坐席的呢？是 服事人的呢？不是 坐席的大嗎？然而，我 在 你們 中間 如同 服事人的。 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.
28 我 在 磨煉之中，常和 我 同在 的就是 你們。 Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.
29 我 將國 賜 給你們，正如 我 父 賜 給我一樣， And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
30 叫 你們在 我 國裡，坐在 我的 席 上吃 喝，並且 坐 在 寶座上，審判 以色列 十二 個支派。」 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
31 主又說：「西門！西門！ 撒但 想要 得著你們，好篩 你們像 篩麥子一樣； And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
32 但 我 已經為 你 祈求，叫你 不至於 失了 信心。 你 回頭以後，要堅固 你的 弟兄。」 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
33 彼得 說：「主啊，我就是 同 你 下 監， 同你受 死，也是 甘心！」 And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.
34 耶穌說：「彼得，我告訴 你，今日 雞 還沒有 叫，你要 三次 說不 認得 我。」 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
35 耶穌又 對他們 說：「我差 你們 出去的時候，沒有 錢囊， 沒有口袋， 沒有鞋，你們缺少 甚麼 沒有？」 他們說：「沒有。」 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.
36 耶穌 說：「但 如今 有 錢囊 的可以帶著，有口袋 的也 可以帶著， 沒 有 刀 的要賣 衣服 買刀。 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
37 我告訴 你們， 經上寫著說：『 他被列 在 罪犯之中。』這話 必 應驗 在 我身上；因為 那關係 我 的事 必然成就。」 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.
38 他們說：「主啊，請看！這裡 有兩把 刀。」 耶穌 說：「 夠了。」 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.
39 耶穌出來，照 常 往 橄欖 山 去， 門徒 也 跟隨 他。 And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.
40 到了 那地方，就對他們 說：「你們要禱告，免得 入了 迷惑。」 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
41 於是 離開 他們 約有 扔 一塊石頭那麼遠， 跪下 禱告， And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
42 說：「父啊！你若 願意，就把這 杯 撤去；然而，不要 成就我的 意思，只要 成就 你的意思。」 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
43 有一位天使 從 天 上 顯現，加添 他的力量。 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
44 耶穌極其 傷痛，禱告 更加懇切， 汗珠 如 大血 點 滴 在 地上。 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
45 禱告完了，就起來， 到 門徒那裡，見 他們 因為 憂愁 都睡著了， And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,
46 就 對他們 說：「你們為甚麼 睡覺呢？起來 禱告，免得 入了 迷惑！」 And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.
47 說話之間， 來了許多人。 那十二 個門徒裡 名叫 猶大的，走 在前頭， 就近 耶穌，要與他 親嘴。 And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.
48 耶穌 對他 說：「猶大！你用親嘴 的暗號賣 人 子嗎？」 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?
49 左右 的人見 光景不好，就說：「主啊！我們拿 刀 砍 可以不可以？」 When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?
50 內中 有一個人 把大祭司 的僕人 砍了一刀， 削掉 了他 的右 耳。 And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.
51 耶穌 說：「到了 這個地步，由他們吧！」就 摸 那人的耳朵，把他 治好了。 And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.
52 耶穌 對 那些來 拿 他 的祭司長 和 守殿 官 並 長老 說：「你們帶著 刀 棒 出來拿我，如同 拿 強盜嗎？ Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?
53 我 天天 同 你們 在 殿裡，你們不 下 手 拿 我。現在 卻 是 你們 的時候， 黑暗 掌權了。」 When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
54 他們拿住耶穌，把他 帶 到 大祭司 的宅裡。 彼得 遠遠地 跟著。 Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest’s house. And Peter followed afar off.
55 他們在 院子 裡 生了 火， 一同坐著；彼得 也坐 在他們 中間。 And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them.
56 有一個 使女 看見 彼得 坐 在 火光裡，就 定睛看 他，說：「這個人 素來也 是 同 那人一夥的。」 But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.
57 彼得卻 不承認，說：「女子，我不 認得 他。」 And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.
58 過了不多的時候，又有一個 人看見 他，說：「你 也 是 他們一黨的。」 彼得 說：「你這個人！我不 是。」 And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.
59 約 過了 一 小時，又有一個人 極力地 說：「他實在 是 同 那 人一夥的，因為 他也 是 加利利人。」 And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilean.
60 彼得 說：「你這個人！我不 曉得 你說 的是甚麼！」 正 說話之間，雞 就 叫了。 And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.
61 主 轉過身來 看 彼得，彼得 便 想起 主 對他 所說 的話：「 今日 雞 叫 以先，你要三次 不認 我。」 And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
62 他就 出去 痛 哭。 And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.
63 看守 耶穌 的人 戲弄 他，打他， And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him.
64 又 蒙著 他的眼，問 他說：「你是先知，告訴我們打 你 的是 誰？」 And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?
65 他們還 用許多 別的 話辱罵 他。 And many other things blasphemously spake they against him.
66 天 一亮，民間 的眾長老 連 祭司長 帶 文士 都聚會， 把耶穌 帶 到 他們的 公會裡， And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,
67 說：「你 若 是 基督，就告訴 我們。」 耶穌 說：「我若 告訴 你們，你們也不 信； Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:
68 我若 問你們，你們也不 回答。 And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go.
69 從 今以後，人 子 要 坐 在 神 權能 的右邊。」 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.
70 他們 都說：「這樣，你 是 神 的兒子嗎？」 耶穌 說：「你們 所說的 是。」 Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.
71 他們說：「何必 再 用見證呢？ 他 親口所說的，我們都親自 聽見了。」 And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.
