| 1 | 耶穌 在 一個 地方 禱告； 禱告完了，有個 門徒 對 他 說：「求主 教導 我們 禱告，像 約翰 教導 他 的門徒。」 | And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. |
| 2 | 耶穌 說：「 你們禱告的時候，要說：我們在天上的父（有古卷：父啊）：願人都尊你的 名 為聖。願你的 國 降臨；願你的旨意行在地上，如同行在天上（有古卷沒有願你的旨意....）。 | And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. |

| 6 | 因為 我 有一個朋友 行 路，來 到 我這裡， 我沒 有 甚麼 給他 擺上。』 | For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? |
| 7 | 那人 在裡面 回答 說：『不要 攪擾 我，門 已經 關閉， 孩子們 也 同 我 在 床上了，我不 能 起來 給 你。』 | And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. |
| 8 | 我告訴 你們，雖 不 因 他 是 朋友 起來 給 他，但 因 他 情詞迫切地直求，就必起來 照 他所需用 的給 他。 | I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth. |
| 9 | 我又 告訴 你們，你們祈求，就 給 你們；尋找，就 尋見；叩門，就 給你們 開門。 | And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. |
| 10 | 因為，凡 祈求的，就得著； 尋找的，就尋見； 叩門的，就給他開門。 | For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. |
| 11 | 你們 中間 作父親的，誰有兒子 求餅，反給他石頭呢？ 求魚，反拿 蛇 當 魚 給他呢？ | If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? |
| 12 | 求 雞蛋，反給 他 蠍子呢？ | Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? |
| 13 | 你們 雖然 不好，尚且知道 拿好 東西 給 兒女；何況 天 父，豈不更 將聖 靈 給 求 他的人嗎？」 | If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? |
| 14 | 耶穌 趕出 一個 叫人 啞巴 的鬼； 鬼 出去了，啞巴 就說出話來； 眾人 都希奇。 | And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered. |
| 15 | 內中 卻 有人 說：「他是靠著 鬼 王 別西卜 趕 鬼。」 | But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils. |
| 16 | 又 有人 試探耶穌，向 他 求 從 天上 來的神蹟。 | And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven. |
| 17 | 他 曉得 他們 的意念，便對他們 說：「凡 一國 自相 紛爭，就成為荒場； 凡一家 自相紛爭，就必敗落。 | But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth. |
| 18 | 若 撒但 自相 紛爭，他 的國 怎能 站得住呢？因為 你們說 我 是靠著 別西卜 趕 鬼。 | If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub. |
| 19 | 我 若 靠著 別西卜 趕 鬼，你們的 子弟 趕鬼 又靠著 誰呢？這樣，他們 就要 斷定你們的 是非。 | And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges. |
| 20 | 我 若 靠著 神 的能力 趕 鬼，這就是 神 的國 臨 到 你們了。 | But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. |
| 21 | 壯士 披掛整齊，看守 自己的 住宅，他 所有的 都 平安無事； | When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: |
| 22 | 但 有一個比他 更壯的 來，勝過 他，就奪去 他 所倚靠 的盔甲兵器，又 分了 他 的贓。 | But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. |
| 23 | 不 與 我相合的，就是 敵 我的； 不 同 我 收聚的，就是分散的。」 | He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. |
| 24 | 「 污 鬼 離了 人身，就在 無水 之地 過來過去，尋求 安歇之處；既 尋 不著，便 說：『我要回 到 我 所 出來 的屋裡去。』 | When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. |
| 25 | 到了，就看見 裡面打掃乾淨， 修飾好了， | And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. |
| 26 | 便 去 另 帶了 七個 比自己 更惡 的鬼來，都 進去 住 在那裡。 那 人 末後的 景況比先前 更不好了。」 | Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. |
| 27 | 耶穌 正說 這話的時候，眾人 中間 有一個 女人 大 聲 說：「懷 你 胎 的和 乳 養 你的有福了！」 | And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. |
| 28 | 耶穌 說：「是，卻還不如 聽 神 之道 而 遵守 的人有福。」 | But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. |
| 29 | 當眾人 聚集的時候，耶穌開 講說：「這 世代 是 一個邪惡的 世代。他們求 看神蹟，除了 約拿 的神蹟以外， 再沒有 神蹟 給 他們看。 | And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet. |
| 30 | 約拿 怎樣為尼尼微人 成了 神蹟，人 子 也要 照樣 為這 世代 的人成了神蹟。 | For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation. |
| 31 | 當 審判的時候，南方 的女王 要 起來 定這世代的罪；因為 她從 地 極 而來，要聽 所羅門 的智慧話。 看哪！在這裡 有一人比所羅門 更大。 | The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here. |
| 32 | 當 審判的時候，尼尼微 人 要 起來 定這世代的罪，因為 尼尼微人聽了 約拿 所傳的 就悔改了。 看哪！在這裡 有一人比約拿 更大。」 | The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here. |
| 33 | 「沒有人 點 燈 放 在 地窨子裡，或是 斗 底下，總是 放在 燈臺上，使 進來 的人得見 亮光。 | No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light. |
| 34 | 你 眼睛 就是 身上 的燈。 你的 眼睛 若 瞭亮， 全 身 就 光明； 眼睛若 昏花， 全身 就 黑暗。 | The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. |
| 35 | 所以，你要省察，恐怕 你 裡 頭的光 或者 黑暗了。 | Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. |
| 36 | 若是 你 全 身 光明，毫無 黑暗，就必 全然 光明，如同 燈 的明光 照亮 你。」 | If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light. |
| 37 | 說話的時候，有一個法利賽人 請 耶穌 同 他 吃飯，耶穌就 進去 坐席。 | And as he spake, a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him: and he went in, and sat down to meat. |
| 38 | 這法利賽人 看見 耶穌飯 前 不 洗手 便詫異。 | And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner. |
| 39 | 主 對 他 說：「如今 你們 法利賽人 洗淨 杯 盤 的外面，你們 裡面 卻 滿了 勒索 和 邪惡。 | And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness. |
| 40 | 無知的人哪，造 外面的，不 也 造 裡面嗎？ | Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also? |
| 41 | 只要 把裡面的 施捨 給人， 凡物 於你們 就都 潔淨了。 | But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you. |
| 42 | 「 你們 法利賽人 有禍了！因為 你們將薄荷、 芸香 並 各樣 菜蔬 獻上十分之一，那公義 和 愛 神 的事反倒 不行了。 這 原是你們當 行的；那也是 不可 不行的。 | But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. |
| 43 | 你們 法利賽人 有禍了！因為 你們喜愛 會堂 裡 的首位，又 喜愛人在 街市 上問你們的安。 | Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets. |
| 44 | 你們 有禍了！因為你們 如同 不顯露的 墳墓， 走 在上面 的人 並不 知道。」 | Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them. |
| 45 | 律法師 中有一個 回答 耶穌 說：「夫子！你這樣 說 也 把我們 糟蹋了。」 | Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also. |
| 46 | 耶穌說：「你們 律法師 也 有禍了！因為 你們把難擔的 擔子 放在 人身上， 自己 一個 指頭 卻不肯 動。 | And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers. |
| 47 | 你們 有禍了！因為 你們修造 先知 的墳墓， 那先知 正是你們的 祖宗 所殺的。 | Woe unto you! for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets, and your fathers killed them. |
| 48 | 可見 你們 祖宗 所做的事，你們又證明 又 喜歡；因為 他們 殺了 先知， 你們 修造先知的墳墓。 | Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchres. |
| 49 | 所以 神 用智慧（用智慧：或譯的智者） 曾說：『我要差遣 先知 和 使徒 到 他們那裡去， 有的 他們 要殺害，有的他們 要逼迫』， | Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute: |
| 50 | 使 創世 以來 所流 眾 先知 血 的罪都要問 在 這 世代的人身上， | That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation; |
| 51 | 就是從 亞伯 的血起，直到 被殺 在壇 和 殿 中間 撒迦利亞 的血為止。我實在 告訴 你們，這都要問 在 這 世代的人身上。 | From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation. |
| 52 | 你們 律法師 有禍了！因為 你們把知識 的鑰匙 奪了去，自己 不 進去，正要進去 的人你們也 阻擋他們。」 | Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered. |
| 53 | 耶穌 從那裡出來，文士 和 法利賽人 就 極力地 催逼他， 引動 他 多說話， | And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things: |
| 54 | 私下窺聽，要拿 他 的話柄。 | Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him. |
