| 2 | 你們要恆切 禱告，在 此 警醒 感恩。 | Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; |
| 3 | 也要 為 我們 禱告，求 神 給我們 開 傳道 的門，能以講 基督 的奧祕（我為 此 被捆鎖）， | Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: |
| 4 | 叫 我 按著 所該 說的話 將這 奧祕發明出來。 | That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. |
| 5 | 你們要愛惜 光陰，用 智慧 與 外人交往。 | Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. |
| 6 | 你們 的言語 要常常 帶著 和氣，好像用鹽 調和，就可知道 該 怎樣 回答 各 人。 | Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. |
| 7 | 有我親愛的 兄弟 推基古 要將我 一切的 事 都告訴 你們。 他是忠心的 執事，和 我一同 作主 的僕人。 | All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord: |
| 8 | 我特意 打發 他 到 你們那裡去，好叫 你們知道 我們 的光景，又 叫他安慰 你們的 心。 | Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts; |
| 9 | 我又 打發一位親愛 忠心的 兄弟 阿尼西謀同去；他 也是 你們 那裡的人。他們要把這裡 一切的事 都告訴 你們。 | With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here. |

| 14 | 所親愛的 醫生 路加 和 底馬 問你們 安。 | Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you. |
| 15 | 請問 老底嘉 的弟兄 和 寧法，並 她 家裡的 教會 安。 | Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house. |
| 16 | 你們 念了 這書信，便交給 老底嘉 的教會，叫 他們也 念； 你們 也要 念 從老底嘉 來的書信。 | And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea. |
| 17 | 要對亞基布 說：「務要謹慎， 盡 你從 主 所受的 職分。」 | And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it. |
| 18 | 我－保羅 親筆問你們安。你們要記念 我的 捆鎖。願恩惠 常與 你們同在！ | The salutation by the hand of me Paul. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you. Amen. Written from Rome to the Colossians by Tychicus and Onesimus. |
