| 1 | 弟兄們，從前我 到 你們 那裡去， 並沒 有用 高 言 大智 對你們 宣傳 神 的奧祕。 | And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. |
| 2 | 因為 我曾定了主意，在你們 中間 不 知道 別的，只 知道耶穌 基督 並 他 釘十字架。 | For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. |
| 3 | 我 在 你們那裡，又 軟弱，又 懼怕 又 甚 戰兢。 | And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. |
| 4 | 我 說的話、 講的道，不 是用 智慧 委婉 的言語，乃是 用 聖靈 和 大能 的明證， | And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: |
| 5 | 叫 你們的 信 不 在乎 人 的智慧，只 在乎 神 的大能。 | That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. |
| 6 | 然而，在完全 的人中，我們也講 智慧。但 不 是這 世 上的智慧，也不是 這 世上有權有位、將要敗亡 之人的智慧。 | Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: |
| 7 | 我們講的，乃是 從前所隱藏、 神 奧祕 的智慧，就是 神 在萬世 以前 預定 使 我們 得榮耀的。 | But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: |
| 8 | 這 智慧世 上有權有位的人 沒有一個 知道的，他們 若 知道，就不 把榮耀 的主 釘在十字架上了。 | Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. |
| 9 | 如 經上所記： 神 為愛 他 的人所預備 的 是眼睛 未 曾看見， 耳朵 未曾 聽見， 人 心 也未曾 想到的。 | But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. |
| 10 | 只有 神 藉著 聖靈 向我們 顯明了，因為 聖靈 參透 萬事，就是 神 深奧的事也參透了。 | But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. |
| 11 | 除了 在 人 裡頭的靈， 誰 知道 人 的事？ 像這樣，除了 神 的靈，也沒有人 知道 神 的事。 | For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. |
| 12 | 我們 所領受的，並 不 是世 上的靈，乃是從 神 來的 靈，叫 我們能知道 神 開恩賜給 我們的事。 | Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. |
| 13 | 並且 我們講說 這些事，不 是用 人 智慧 所指教 的言語，乃是 用聖靈 所指教的言語，將屬靈的話解釋 屬靈 的事（或譯：將屬靈的事講與屬靈的人）。 | Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. |
| 14 | 然而，屬血氣 的人 不 領會 神 聖靈 的事， 反倒 以為 愚拙，並且 不 能 知道，因為 這些事惟有屬靈 的人才能看透。 | But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. |
| 15 | 屬靈 的人能看透 萬事，卻 沒有一人 能看透 了 他。 | But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. |
