| 1 | 主耶和华指示我一件事：为王割菜（或译：草）之后，菜又发生；刚发生的时候，主造蝗虫。 | Thus hath the Lord God shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king’s mowings. |
| 2 | 蝗虫吃尽那地的青物，我就说：「主耶和华啊，求你赦免；因为雅各微弱，他怎能站立得住呢？」 | And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord God, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small. |

| 16 | 亚玛谢啊，现在你要听耶和华的话。你说：『不要向以色列说预言，也不要向以撒家滴下预言。』 | Now therefore hear thou the word of the Lord: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac. |
| 17 | 所以耶和华如此说：『你的妻子必在城中作妓女，你的儿女必倒在刀下；你的地必有人用绳子量了分取，你自己必死在污秽之地。以色列民定被掳去离开本地。』」 | Therefore thus saith the Lord; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land. |
